Compounded phenomena

རང་གི་རྒྱུ་རྐྱེན་ལས་སྐྱེས་པས་རབ་ཏུ་ཕྱེ་བར་དམིགས་པ། འདུས་བྱས་ཀྱི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition: That observed as that distinguished by being produced from its causes and conditions.

གཟུགས་ཕུང་ནས་རྣམ་ཤེས་ཀྱི་ཕུང་པོའི་བར་ལྔ།

འདུས་བྱས་དང་ཕུང་པོ་དོན་གཅིག
Compounded phenomenon and aggregate are mutually inclusive.

ཕུང་པོ་དང་དངོས་པོ་དོན་མི་གཅིག་སྟེ། འདུས་མ་བྱས་ཀྱི་དངོས་པོ་ཡོད་པའི་ཕྱིར།
Aggregate and functioning thing are not mutually inclusive because uncompounded functioning things exist.

Synonyms: འདུས་བྱས་ཀྱི་མིང་གི་རྣམ་གྲངས་ཡིན།

• Time (དུས།): Because of being the time of having past, not yet come, and exhausting impermanent phenomena དུས་ཞེས་བྱ་སྟེ། སོང་ཟིན་པ་དང༌། མ་འོངས་པ་དང༌། མི་རྟག་པ་ཟད་པའི་དུས་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
• Basis of discourse (གཏམ་གྱི་གཞི།): Because discourses are mostly connected with and arises on the basis of those གཏམ་གྱི་གཞི་ཞེས་བྱ་སྟེ། གཏམ་རྣམས་ཕལ་ཆེར་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་སྟེང་ནས་འབྱུང་ཉེ་ཞིང་འབྲེལ་ཆེ་བའི་ཕྱིར།
• Possessing definitive emergence (ངེས་པར་འབྱུང་བཅས།): Because in order to attain nirvana without remainder, it is necessary to definitively emerge from those
  ངེས་པར་འབྱུང་བཅས་ཞེས་བྱ་སྟེ། ལྷག་མེད་མྱང་འདས་འཐོབ་པ་ལ། ཁྱོད་ལས་ངེས་པར་འབྱུང་དགོས་པའི་ཕྱིར།
• With basis (གཞི་དང་བཅས་པ།): Because of arising from their causes གཞི་དང་བཅས་པ་ཞེས་བྱ་སྟེ། རང་གི་རྒྱུ་ལས་བྱུང་བའི་ཕྱིར།

རྐྱེན་རྣམས་འདུས་ཤིང་ཕྲད་ནས་བྱས་པས་ན་འདུས་བྱས།
