Karma - Intro

སྤྱིར་སྣོད་བཅུད་ཀྱི་འཇིག་རྟེན། ཁྱད་པར་དུ་དེ་དག་གི་བདེ་སྡུག་སྣ་ཚོགས་པ་དེ་གང་གིས་བྱས་པ་ཡིན་ཞེ་ན།
By what are the container and contained world-systems (in general) and the various sufferings (in particular) created?

དེ་སྟོན་པ་ནི། ལས་ལས་འཇིག་རྟེན་སྣ་ཚོགས་སྐྱེས། །ཞེས་གསུངས།
To indicate that: "The various worlds are produced from karma." [4.1a]

དེ་རྣམས་ཆོས་ཅན། རྒྱུ་མེད་དང་མི་མཐུན་པའི་རྒྱུ་ལས་མི་འབྱུང་སྟེ། རང་རང་གི་རྒྱུར་གྱུར་པའི་ཐུན་མོང་དང་ཐུན་མོང་མ་ཡིན་པའི་ལས་ལ་བརྟེན་ནས་བྱུང་བའི་ཕྱིར།
The subject - those - they do not arise causelessly or from a discordant cause because of arising in dependence upon the common and uncommon karma that are their causes.
