སྣའི་རྣམ་པར་ཤེས་པའི་ཐུན་མོང་མ་ཡིན་པའི་བདག་རྐྱེན་བྱེད་པའི་རིགས་སུ་གནས་པས་རབ་ཏུ་ཕྱེ་བའི་ནང་གི་གཟུགས་ཅན་དང་བར་དམིགས་པ།
སྣའི་དབང་པོ་གཟུགས་ཅན་པའི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition: That observed as a clear inner form distinguished by abiding in the class of acting as the uncommon empowering condition of the nose-consciousness.

སྣའི་དབང་པོ་ནི་དབང་རྟེན་གྱི་དབུས་ན་དབྱིབས་ཟངས་ཀྱི་མོ་ཁབ་ཐུར་དུ་གཤིབས་པ་ལྟ་བུ། ངོ་བོ་དྲིའི་སྐྱེ་མཆེད་སྣང་བའི་ཤིན་ཏུ་དང་བ་གཅིག་ཡོད།
The nose-faculty exists in the middle of the faculty-support, its shape is like fine copper needles pointing down in parallel, and its nature is a very clear [form] for the appearance of smell-sources.

སྣ། སྣོམ་བྱེད། དྲི་འཛིན་སོགས་རྣམ་གྲངས་སུ་གསུངས།
Nose, smeller, smell-catcher, and so forth are synonyms.
