ཆོས་ཀྱི་སྐྱེ་མཆེད་དང་ཆོས་ཁམས་གཞག་ཏུ་ཡོད་དེ།
(Abhidharmakosha:) The phenomenon-sources / phenomenon constituents are (7):

• Three middle aggregates: ཕུང་པོ་བར་པ་གསུམ།

  1. Feeling aggregate
  2. Discrimination aggregate
  3. Compositional factors aggregate

• Non-revealing forms རྣམ་པར་རིག་བྱེད་མ་ཡིན་པ།

• The three uncompounded phenomena: འདུས་མ་བྱས་གསུམ་པོ།

  1. Analytical cessations སོ་སོར་བརྟགས་འགོག
  2. Non-analytical cessations སོ་སོར་བརྟགས་མིན་གྱི་འགོག་པ།
  3. Space ནམ་མཁའ།

(Abhidharmasamuccaya:) The phenomenon constituents are (16):

• The five form phenomenon-sources: ཆོས་ཀྱི་སྐྱེ་མཆེད་པའི་གཟུགས་ལྔ།
  1. Arising through gathering འདུས་པ་ལས་གྱུར་པ།
  2. Spatial མངོན་པར་སྐབས་ཡོད་པ། those appearing only to a mental consciousness
  3. Arisen through correct appropriation ཡང་དག་པར་བླངས་པ་ལས་གྱུར་པ། those arising from taking precepts
  4. Completely imputed ཀུན་བཏགས་པ། those arising from imputation
  5. Conjured དབང་འབྱོར་བ། those arising from powers.

  • Three suchnesses: དེ་བཞིན་ཉིད་གསུམ།
    1. Suchness of virtues དགེ་བའི་དེ་བཞིན་ཉིད།
    2. Suchness of non-virtues མི་དགེ་བའི་དེ་བཞིན་ཉིད།
    3. Suchness of unspecified ལུང་མ་བསྟན་གྱི་དེ་བཞིན་ཉིད།
  • Two:
    1. Absorption of non-discrimination འདུ་ཤེས་མེད་པའི་སྙོམས་འཇུག
    2. Absorption of cessation འགོག་པའི་སྙོམས་འཇུག

    1. Analytical cessations སོ་སོར་བརྟགས་འགོག

ཡིད་ཤེས་ཀྱི་ཡུལ་དུ་གྱུར་པའི་ཆོས་དེས་ཆོས་མང་པོ་བསྡུས་པ་དང་ཆོས་ཀྱི་མཆོག་མྱ་ངན་ལས་འདས་པ་བསྡུས་པ་ཡིན་ཞིང་གཙོ་བོ་ཡིན་པས་།
སྤྱི་མིང་བྱེ་བྲག་ལ་བཏགས་པ་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
Since phenomena that are the objects of mental-consciousness include many phenomena and include the supreme phenomenon, i.e. nirvana, but being the main, it is a case of giving the name of the category to the instances.
