The Eight Non-Freedoms: མི་ཁོམ་པ་བརྒྱད་ནི།

• The three lower realms ངན་སོང་གསུམ།
• Long-life god ལྷ་ཚེ་རིང་པོ།
• Lacking the Conqueror’s teachings རྒྱལ་བའི་བཀའ་མེད་པ།
• Uneducated in a remote region མཐའ་འཁོབ་ཏུ་ཀླ་ཀློར་སྐྱེ་བ།
• Deaf or dumb གླེན་ཞིང་ལྐུགས་པ།
• Possessing wrong views ལོག་ལྟ་ཅན།

The Ten Opportunities: འབྱོར་བ་བཅུ་ལ་གཉིས།

1. Relating to oneself རང་འབྱོར་ལྔ།
   1. Being human མི་ཡིན་པ།
   2. Being born in a central place ཡུལ་དབུས་སུ་སྐྱེས་པ།
   3. Full faculties དབང་པོ་ཚང་བ།
   4. Refrained from the five extreme actions ལས་མཐའ་མ་ལོག་པ།
   5. Faith in the source གནས་ལ་དད་པ།
2. Relating to others གཞན་འབྱོར་ལྔ།
   1. The Buddha came སངས་རྒྱས་བྱོན་པ།
   2. He taught the Dharma དེས་དམ་ཆོས་སྟོན་པ།
   3. That Dharma still remains བསྟན་པ་གནས་པ།
   4. There are practitioners of that Dharma དེའི་རྗེས་སུ་འཇུག་པ་ཡོད་པ།
   5. There are people with love and compassion for others གཞན་ཕྱིར་སྙིང་བརྩེ་བ།
