Selflessness: བདག་མེད་ལ།

1. Selflessness of persons གང་ཟག་གི་བདག་མེད།
   1. Empty of permanent, unitary, independent self
      རྟག་གཅིག་རང་དབང་ཅན་གྱིས་སྟོང་པ།
   2. Empty of self-sufficient substantially existent self
      རང་སྐྱ་ཐུབ་པའི་རྫས་ཡོད་ཀྱི་སྟོང་པ།
   3. Empty of truly existent self བདེན་པས་སྟོང་པ།
2. Selflessness of phenomena ཆོས་ཀྱི་བདག་མེད།
   1. Form and the valid cogniser apprehending it are empty of being different substances
      གཟུགས་དང་གཟུགས་འཛིན་ཚད་མ་རྫས་གཞན་གྱིས་སྟོང་པ།
   2. All phenomena are empty of true existence ཆོས་ཐམས་ཅད་བདེན་པས་སྟོང་པ།

Objects of Negation for Madhyamaka: དབུ་མ་པའི་དགག་བྱ།

• Svatantrika: རང་རྒྱུད་པ།
  1. Ultimate existence དོན་དམ་པར་གྲུབ་པ།
  2. Existence as [its own] suchness དེ་ཁོ་ན་ཉིད་དུ་གྲུབ་པ།
  3. Existence as [its own] reality ཡང་དག་པར་གྲུབ་པ།
  4. True existence བདེན་པར་གྲུབ་པ།
  5. True establishment བདེན་པར་ཡོད་པ།
• Prasangika: ཐལ་འགྱུར་བ།
  1. Inherent existence རང་བཞིན་གྱིས་གྲུབ་པ།
  2. Existence from its own side རང་ངོས་ནས་གྲུབ་པ།
  3. Existence by way of its own character རང་གི་མཚན་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་གྲུབ་པ།
