Apprehension of a self of phenomena

རང་གི་དམིགས་ཡུལ་དུ་གྱུར་པའི་ཆོས་དང་གང་ཟག་གཉིས་སུ་ཕྱེ་བའི་ཆོས་ལ་དམིགས་ནས་རང་གི་མཚན་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་གྲུབ་པར་འཛིན་པའི་བློ།
ཆོས་ཀྱི་བདག་འཛིན་གྱི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition: An awareness that observes phenomena (from among the division into phenomena and persons) that is its object and apprehends it as being established by way of its own-characteristics.

Terminological divisions: དེ་ལ་སྒྲས་རྗོད་རིགས་ཀྱི་སྒོ་ནས་དབྱེ་ན།

1. Acquired ཀུན་བཏགས།
2. Innate ལྷན་སྐྱེས།

• An awareness apprehending that it is correct that forms are established by way of their own-characteristics through the force of the continuum being affected by tenets
  གྲུབ་མཐས་རྒྱུད་བསླད་པའི་དབང་གིས་གཟུགས་རང་གི་མཚན་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་གྲུབ་པ་འཐད་སྙམ་དུ་འཛིན་པའི་བློ་དང་།
• A conception apprehending that coarse [forms] that are an accumulation of partless particles and the valid cognitions apprehending them are established as different substances
