Buddha's omniscience

སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཡེ་ཤེས་ཀྱིས་ཤེས་བྱ་མཁྱེན་ཚུལ་ལ་གཉིས་ཡོད་དེ།
There are two ways in which the Buddhas' exalted wisdom knows objects of knowledge:

1. Way of knowing ultimate objects of knowledge དོན་དམ་པའི་ཤེས་བྱ་མཁྱེན་ཚུལ།
2. Way of knowing conventional objects of knowledge ཀུན་རྫོབ་པའི་ཤེས་བྱ་མཁྱེན་ཚུལ།

ཕུང་པོ་ལ་སོགས་པ་ཀུན་རྫོབ་ཀྱི་སྣང་བ་རྣམས་མ་གཟིགས་པའི་ཚུལ་གྱིས་དེས་དེ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་དེ་ཁོ་ན་ཉིད་གཟིགས་པའོ།
The first: By way of non-perception of conventional appearances (the aggregates and so forth), it perceives the suchness of those.

མི་སྣང་ཡང་རྟོགས་པའི་ཤུགས་རྟོགས་སངས་རྒྱས་ལ་བཞག་ཏུ་མི་རུང་བའི་ཕྱིར།
སྣང་ནས་མཁྱེན་དགོས་པས་ཇི་སྙེད་པ་མཁྱེན་པའི་ཡེ་ཤེས་དེའི་ངོར། ཡུལ་དང་ཡུལ་ཅན་གཉིས་སུ་སྣང་བའི་ཚུལ་གྱིས་མཁྱེན་པའོ།
(LTK:) The second: Since it is not suitable to posit that the Buddha has implicit realisation where [the objects] realised do not appear, it necessarily knows through their appearing. Therefore, from the perspective of that exalted wisdom knowing conventionalities, they are known by way of dualistic appearances of object and object-possessor.

ཊཱིཀ་ཆེན་ལས། མི་སྣང་ཡང་རྟོགས་པའི་ཤུགས་རྟོགས་སངས་རྒྱས་ལ་གཞག་ཏུ་མི་རུང་བའི་ཕྱིར།
Ocean of Reasoning says: Because implicit realisation (where [the object] does not appear but is realised) is not suitable to posit for the Buddha.
