Emptiness of the inner and outer

དབང་རྟེན་ཁོག་པ་ཆོས་ཅན། ཁྱོད་ལ་ཕྱི་ནང་གཉིས་ཅར་ཞེས་བྱ་སྟེ། ཤེས་རྒྱུད་གྱིས་བསྡུས་པས་ནང་དང་དབང་པོས་མ་བསྡུས་པས་ཕྱི་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
The subject - the inner supports of the faculties - they are referred to as both inner and outer because 1) they are inner due to being included within the mental continuum and 2) they are outer due to not being included among the faculties.

དེ་འདྲའི་ཕྱི་ནང་གཉིས་ཅར་རང་བཞིན་གྱི་མེད་པ་ཉིད་ནི་ཆོས་ཅན། ཕྱི་ནང་སྟོང་པ་ཉིད་ཡིན་ཏེ། སྟོང་གཞི་ཕྱི་ནང་གཉིས་ཀ་བདེན་པ་སྟོང་པའི་སྟོང་ཉིད་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
The subject - the lack of inherent existence of those that are both inner and outer - they are the emptiness of the inner and outer because of being the emptiness of true existence of what is both inner and outer (as the bases of emptiness).
