Etymology and surpassing wisdom on the sixth ground (Gomde)

ས་དྲུག་པ་མངོན་དུ་ཕྱོགས་པ་སྟེ་མངོན་དུ་གྱུར་པར་སྟོང་ཉིད་ལ་མཉམ་པར་གཞག་པའི་སེམས་ཕུལ་དུ་བྱུང་བ་ལ་གནས་ཏེ།
དེ་ལ་བརྟེན་ནས་ས་འདིར་རྟེན་ཅིང་འབྲེལ་བར་འབྱུང་བའི་རྐྱེན་ཉིད་འདི་པ་ཙམ་གྱི་ཟབ་མོའི་དེ་ཁོ་ན་ཉིད་མངོན་སུམ་དུ་མཐོང་བའི་བྱང་སེམས་ས་དྲུག་པ་བ་དེ་ཆོས་ཅན།
འདིར་བསྟན་ཐུན་མོང་མ་ཡིན་པའི་འགོག་པའིེ་སྙོམས་འཇུག་ཐོབ་པར་འགྱུར་ཏེ། ཤེས་རབ་ལྷག་པར་ཐོབ་པ་ལ་གནས་པའི་སེམས་དཔའ་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
The subject - on the sixth ground, the Approaching or Manifest, in dependence upon abiding in the excellent mind that is in meditative equipoise on emptiness, the sixth ground bodhisattva directly perceives profound suchness that is the dependent-arising of mere conditionality - they attain the uncommon absorption of cessation indicated in this context because of being a bodhisattva abiding in the attainment of surpassing wisdom.

ས་དྲུག་པའི་ཡེ་ཤེས་ཆོས་ཅན། ཁྱོད་ལ་མངོན་དུ་གྱུར་པ་ཞེས་བརྗོད་པའི་རྒྱུ་མཚན་ཡོད་དེ། ཤེས་རབ་ལྷག་པའི་སྒོ་ནས་བདེན་པ་དང་།
རྟེན་འབྲེལ་གཟུགས་བརྙན་དང་འདྲ་བའི་ཆོས་ཉིད་མངོན་དུ་གྱུར་ཅིང་། ས་ལྔ་པར་བདེན་བཞི་ལ་མཁས་པའི་ཤེས་རབ་རྫོགས་པས།
ས་འདིར་རྫོགས་པའི་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཆོས་འཐོབ་པ་ལ་མངོན་དུ་ཕྱོགས་ཤིང་ཉེ་བའི་རྒྱུ་མཚན་གྱིས་དེ་ལྟར་བརྗོད་པའི་ཕྱིར།
The subject - the exalted wisdom of the sixth ground - there is a reason for calling it "Manifest" because 1) by way of surpassing wisdom it manifests the illusion like dharmata of the truths and dependent-arisings and 2) through having perfected the wisdom skilled in the four truths on the fifth ground, this ground is approaching or close to attaining the dharma of the complete buddhas.

ཕར་ཕྱིན་དང་པོ་ལྔ་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་སར་བགྲོད་པ་ཤེར་ཕྱིན་ལ་རག་ལས་ཏེ། ཇི་ལྟར་ཏེ་དཔེར་ན་ལོང་བའི་ཚོགས་ཀུན་མིག་དང་ལྡན་པའི་སྐྱེས་བུ་གཅིག་གིས་རང་རང་འདོད་པའི་ཡུལ་དུ་བདེ་བླག་ཏུ་འཁྲིད་པར་བྱེད་པ་དེ་བཞིན་དུ། དོན་གྱི་སྐབས་འདིར་ཡང་བློ་སྟེ་ཤེས་རབ་ཕར་ཕྱིན་གྱིས་དེ་ཁོ་ན་ཉིད་ལྟ་བའི་མིག་ཉམས་པའི་སྦྱིན་སོགས་ཀྱི་ཡོན་ཏན་རྣམས་བླངས་སྟེ་ཡོངས་སུ་བཟུང་ནས་རྒྱལ་བ་སངས་རྒྱས་ཉིད་ཀྱི་གོ་འཕངས་སུ་འགྲོ་བར་བྱེད་པའི་ཕྱིར།
The first five perfections leading to the Buddha-ground depends upon the perfection of wisdom because, for example, like a single being with eyes can easily lead an entire collection of blind people to where they wish to go, the perfection of wisdom is able to take up, i.e. hold, the qualities of the blind generosity and so forth, and progress to the state of the Conqueror Buddha.
