Etymology for the fourth ground (Gomde)

ས་བཞི་པ་ཆོས་ཅན། ཁྱོད་ལ་འོད་འཕྲོ་བ་ཞེས་བྱ་སྟེ། ས་དེར་ནི་བདེ་གཤེགས་སྲས་པོ་ལ་རྫོགས་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཀྱི་ཕྱོགས་ཀྱི་ཆོས་སོ་བདུན་སྔར་ལས་ལྷག་པར་བསྒོམ་པ་ལས་སྐྱེས་པའི་ཡེ་ཤེས་ཀྱི་འོད་སྣང་བ་ཁྱད་པར་ཅན། ས་གསུམ་པར་ཐོབ་པའི་ཟངས་ཀྱི་འོད་ལས་ཀྱང་ལྷག་པར་འབྱུང་བའི་རྒྱུ་མཚན་གྱིས་དེ་ལྟར་བརྗོད་པའི་ཕྱིར།
The subject - the fourth ground - it is called Radiant because, on this ground, a special illumination of exalted wisdom produced from an even superior cultivation of the thirty-seven dharmas concordant with complete enlightenment arises for the child of the Sugatas that surpasses even the copper illumination attained on the third ground.
