Etymology for third ground

བྱང་སེམས་ཀྱི་ས་གསུམ་པ་ཆོས་ཅན། ཁྱོད་ལ་འོད་བྱེད་པ་ཞེས་བརྗོད་པའི་རྒྱུ་མཚན་ཡོད་དེ། མཉམ་གཞག་ཏུ་ཡེ་ཤེས་ཀྱི་སྣང་བ་ཁྱད་པར་ཅན་དང་།
རྗེས་ཐོབ་ཏུ་འོད་ཀྱི་སྣང་བ་ཁྱད་པར་ཅན་གཉིས་འབྱུང་བའི་རྒྱུ་མཚན་གྱིས་དེ་ལྟར་བརྗོད་པའི་ཕྱིར།
The subject - the third Bodhisattva ground - there is a reason for referring to it as Illuminating because it is referred to as such due to the arising of a special illumination of exalted wisdom during meditative equipoise and a special illumination of light during subsequent attainment.
