Refuting other-production wrt simultaneous cause and effect

ཁ་ཅིག་ན་རེ། རྒྱུ་འབྲས་ཀྱང་དུས་མཉམ་དུ་གྲུབ་སྟེ།
མིག་གྱི་བློ་རྣམ་པར་ཤེས་པ་ལ་རང་གི་སྐྱེ་བྱེད་རང་དང་དུས་གཅིག་པ་་་་ལས་མིག་བློ་རང་བཞིན་གྱིས་གཞན་ཉིད་དུ་ཡོད་པའི་ཕྱིར་ཞེ་ན།
Someone [Vaibhashika] says: Cause and effect are simultaneously established because for an eye consciousness, its simultaneous producers that it is inherently other from are:

• The eye sense-power མིག་དབང་དང་། (its simultaneously arisen cause / empowering condition)
• Forms གཟུགས་དང་། (its observed-object condition)
• The discrimination, feeling, and so forth, that are simultaneous with it (its concomitant cause)
  དེ་དང་ལྷན་ཅིག་ཏུ་འབྱུང་བའི་འདུ་ཤེས་དང་ཆོར་བ་སོགས།

མིག་གི་རྣམ་པར་ཤེས་པ་ཆོས་ཅན། མིག་དབང་ལས་སླར་ཡང་འབྱུང་བའི་དགོས་པ་མེད་པར་ཐལ། མིག་སོགས་ཀྱི་དུས་ན་ཡོད་པའི་ཕྱིར།
Reply: The subject - an eye consciousness - it follows that it arising again from the eye sense-power is senseless because it exists at the time of the eye [sense-power] and so forth.

ཅི་སྟེ་མིག་སོགས་ཀྱི་དུས་ན་མེད་ཅེ་ན།
Objection: They do not exist at the time of the eye [sense-power] and so forth.

སྤྱིར་དེ་ལྟར་ཡིན་མོད། འོན་ཀྱང་ཁྱོད་ལ་འགལ་འདུ་ཡོད་དེ། མིག་བློ་ཆོས་ཅན། མིག་སོགས་དང་ངོ་བོ་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་གྲུབ་པའི་གཞན་མ་ཡིན་པར་ཐལ།
ཁྱོད་མིག་སོགས་དང་དུས་མཉམ་དུ་མེད་པའི་ཕྱིར་
Reply: Although that is generally the case, it creates a contradiction for you. The subject - an eye consciousness - it follows that it is not inherently established other from the eye [sense-power] and so forth because it does not exist simultaneously with the eye [sense-power] and so forth.

ཞེས་འདི་ལ་ཉེས་པ་བཤད་ཟིན་ཏོ།
