Sense direct perception

མངོན་སུམ་གྱི་ཚད་མ་གང་ཞིག རང་གི་ཐུན་མོང་མ་ཡིན་པའི་བདག་རྐྱེན་དབང་པོ་གཟུགས་ཅན་པ་ལ་དངོས་སུ་བརྟེན་པའི་སྒོ་ནས་རང་ཡུལ་དུ་གྱུར་པའི་
གཞལ་བྱ་མངོན་སུམ་པ་ལ་མི་སླུ་བའི་རིག་པ། དབང་པོའི་མངོན་སུམ་གྱི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition: That which is:

1. A direct valid cognition; and
2. A knower that is non-deceptive wrt the directly-perceptible cognised-object that is its object by way of directly depending upon the physical sense-faculty that is its unique empowering condition.

རང་གི་ཐུན་མོང་མ་ཡིན་པའི་བདག་རྐྱེན་དུ་གྱུར་པའི་དབང་པོ་གཟུགས་ཅན་པ་ལ་བརྟེན་ནས་བྱུང་ཞིང༌།
རང་ཡུལ་གྱི་གཙོ་བོ་དེ་རང་ལ་མངོན་དུ་གྱུར་པའི་སྒོ་ནས་དེ་ལ་མི་སླུ་བའི་ཤེས་པ། དབང་པོའི་མངོན་སུམ་གྱི་མཚན་ཉིད།
(Panchen) Definition: A consciousness that:

1. Arises in dependence upon the physical sense-faculty that is its unique empowering condition; and
2. Is non-deceptive with respect to its main object by way of that being manifest to it.

དབྱེ་ན་གཟུགས་འཛིན་དབང་པོའ་ིམངོན་སུམ་གྱི་ཚད་མ་ནས་རེག་བྱ་འཛིན་པའི་དབང་པོའ་ིམངོན་སུམ་གྱི་ཚད་མའི་བར་ལྔ་ཡོད།
When divided, there are five: from sense direct valid cognition apprehending form and up to sense direct valid cognition apprehending tangible-objects.
