Seventh ground (Gomde)

ས་བདུན་པ་རིང་དུ་སོང་བ་འདིར་གནས་པའི་བྱང་སེམས་འདི་ནི་ཆོས་ཅན། ཤེས་རབ་ཁྱད་པར་ཅན་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཡིན་ཏེ།
སེམས་ཀྱི་སྐད་ཅིག་མ་དང་སྐད་ཅིག་མ་རེ་ལ་ས་དྲུག་པར་ཐོབ་པའི་འགོག་པ་ལ་སྙོམས་པར་འཇུག་པར་འགྱུར་ཞིང་ལྡང་བར་བྱེད་ནུས་པའི་ཕྱིར།
The subject - the bodhisattva abiding on the seven ground "Gone Afar" - they possess a special wisdom because of being able to enter into and arise from the absorption of cessation attained on the sixth ground in each moment of mind.

ས་བདུན་པ་བ་ཆོས་ཅན། ཐབས་མཁས་ཀྱི་ཕ་རོལ་ཏུ་ཕྱིན་པ་ལེགས་པར་འབར་བ་སྟེ་ཆོས་ཡོངས་སུ་དག་པའང་ཐོབ་པ་ཡིན་ཏེ།
དེ་ནི་མི་མཐུན་ཕྱོགས་ཀྱི་དྲི་མས་གཏན་མ་གོས་པའི་ཚུལ་གྱིས་སྤྱོད་ནུས་པའི་ཕྱིར།
The subject - the seventh grounder - their perfection of skilful means burns bright, i.e. they have attained its completely pure practice, because they are able to practice it without any contamination by the stains of its discordant class.

ཐབས་མཁས་ཀྱིི་ཕར་ཕྱིིན་དུ་འཇོག་པའིི་ཐབས་ལ་མཁས་པ་ནིི་བྱང་ས་ལས། དྲུག་ཚན་གཉིིས་གསུངས་པའིི་
(LTK:) Regarding the skill in means that is posited as the perfection of skilful means, the Bodhisattvabhumi indicates two groups of six:

1. The six inner skilful means of starting to accomplish the Buddha's qualities:
   དང་པོོ་ནང་གིི་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱིི་ཆོོས་འགྲུབ་པ་ལས་བརྩམས་པའིི་ཐབས་མཁས་པ་དྲུག་ནིི།
   1. Bodhisattvas look at all sentient beings with compassion
      བྱང་སེེམས་ཀྱིིས་སེེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་སྙིིང་རྗེེ་དང་ལྡན་པར་ལྟ་བ་དང་།
   2. Know the nature of all compounded phenomena as they really are
      འདུ་བྱེེད་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱིི་རང་བཞིིན་ཡང་དག་པ་ཇིི་ལྟ་བ་བཞིིན་དུ་ཤེེས་པ་དང་།
   3. Wish for the unsurpassed exalted wisdom of enlightenment
      བླ་ན་མེེད་པའིི་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཀྱིི་ཡེེ་ཤེེས་འདོད་པ་དང་།
   4. Not forsaking samsara in dependence upon looking at sentient beings
      སེེམས་ཅན་ལ་ལྟ་བ་ལ་བརྟེེན་ནས་འཁོར་བ་མིི་གཏོོང་བ་དང་།
   5. Cycle in samsara by means of an unafflicted mind in dependence upon knowing compounded phenomena as they are
      འདུ་བྱེེད་ཇིི་ལྟ་བ་བཞིིན་ཤེེས་པ་ལ་བརྟེེན་ནས་ཉོོན་མོོངས་པ་ཅན་མ་ཡིིན་པའིི་སེེམས་ཀྱིིས་འཁོར་བར་འཁོར་བ་དང་།
   6. Blazing joyous effort in dependence upon wishing for Buddhahood
      སངས་རྒྱས་འདོད་པ་ལ་བརྟེེན་ནས་བརྩོོན་འགྲུས་འབར་བའོོ།
2. The six outer skilful means of ripening sentient beings:
   ཕྱིིའིི་སེེམས་ཅན་སྨིིན་པར་བྱ་བ་ལས་བརྩམས་པའིི་ཐབས་མཁས་དྲུག་ནིི།
   1. Bodhisattvas transform sentient beings' small root-virtues into immeasurable results
      བྱང་སེེམས་རྣམས་ཀྱིིས་སེེམས་ཅན་གྱིི་དགེེ་བའིི་རྩ་བ་ཆུང་ངུ་རྣམས་འབྲས་བུ་ཚད་མེེད་པར་སྒྱུར་བར་བྱེེད་པ་དང་།
   2. Similarly, accomplish great root-virtues with little effort
      དེེ་བཞིིན་དུ་ཚེེགས་ཆུང་ངུས་དགེེ་རྩ་ཆེེ་བ་དག་སྒྲུབ་པར་བྱེེད་པ་དང་།
   3. Eliminate the anger of those with hatred for the teachings
      བསྟན་པ་ལ་ཞེེ་འགྲས་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱིི་ཁོོང་ཁྲོོ་སེེལ་བར་བྱེེད་པ་དང་།
   4. Encourage those with a neutral mind for the teachings
      བསྟན་པ་ལ་ཡིིད་བར་མར་གནས་པ་རྣམས་དེེ་ལ་འཛུད་པ་དང་།
   5. Ripen those who engage [in the teachings] ཞུགས་པ་རྣམས་སྨིིན་པར་བྱེེད་པ་དང་།
   6. Liberate those they have ripened
      སྨིིན་པ་རྣམས་གྲོོལ་བར་བྱེེད་པ་སྟེེ་ཐབས་ལ་མཁས་པ་བཅུ་གཉིིས་སོོ།

Up a level: Madhyamaka
