Surpassing prayers and arising from cessation (Gomde)

བདག་ཉིད་ཆེན་པོ་ས་བདུན་པ་བ་དེ་ཆོས་ཅན། ས་གང་དུ་ཕྱིན་པ་ན་བྱང་སེམས་དེ་ཕྱིར་མི་ལྡོག་པ་ཉིད་དུ་འགྱུར་བས་མི་གཡོ་བ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་ས་བརྒྱད་པ་དེ་ལ་འཇུག་པའི་རྒྱུ་མཚན་ཡོད་དེ། ཡང་དང་ཡང་དུ་སྔར་ས་བདུན་པ་མན་ཆད་ཀྱི་དགེ་བ་ལས་ཆེས་ལྷག་པ་འཐོབ་པར་བྱ་བའི་ཕྱིར་དུ་དེ་ལ་འཇུག་པའི་ཕྱིར།
The subject - the Great Being seventh grounder - there is a reason for them to enter the eighth ground "Immovable", where the bodhisattva becomes irreversible because they enter that in order to again and again attain virtues far superior to those of the seventh ground and below.

སྔར་གྱི་དགེ་བ་ལས་ལྷག་ཚུལ་ནི་ས་བརྒྱད་པ་ཐོབ་པ་ནས་ཡུད་ཙམ་རེ་ལ་ཐམས་ཅད་མཁྱེན་པའི་ས་གནོན་པ་སྟེ་འཐོབ་པའི་ཆོས་དེ་འདྲ་བའོ།
The way in which they are superior to previous virtues is that having attained the eighth ground, they are similar to the qualities of attaining omniscience in each moment.

ས་བདུན་པ་མན་ཆད་ལ་བསྐལ་པ་འབུམ་དུ་འབད་ཀྱང་གནོན་མི་ནུས་པར་ས་བཅུ་པའིེ་མདོ་ལས་གསུངས་སོ།
The Sutra on the Ten Grounds indicates that even if seventh grounders and below try for a hundred-thousand eons, they are not able to compare to those.

ས་བརྒྱད་པ་འདི་ཆོས་ཅན། སྨོན་ལམ་གྱི་ཕར་ཕྱིན་ལྷག་པར་ཐོབ་པ་ཡིན་ཏེ།
ས་དང་པོ་ཐོབ་པ་ནས་སྨོན་ལམ་འབུམ་ཕྲག་གྲངས་མེད་པ་བཅུ་བཏབ་པ་དེ་དག་ཤིན་ཏུ་དག་པར་འགྱུར་བ་ཐོབ་པའི་ཕྱིར།
The subject - the eighth grounder - they have attained the surpassing perfection of prayer because the ten numberless hundred-thousands of prayers made from the first ground attain complete purity.

བྱང་སེམས་དེ་ཆོས་ཅན། རྒྱལ་བ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་འགོག་པ་ལས་སློང་བར་མཛད་པའི་རྒྱུ་མཚན་ཡོད་དེ།
དེ་འབའ་ཞིག་ལ་མཉམ་པར་བཞག་ན་ཆད་མཐའ་འམ་ཞིེ་མཐར་ལྷུང་ཤིང་དེར་ལྷུང་ན་གཞན་དོན་རྒྱུན་ཆད་པར་འགྱུར་བས།
དེའི་ཕྱིར་གཟུགས་སྐུའི་ཡོན་ཏན་སྟོབས་བཅུ་སོགས་བསྒྲུབ་པའི་ཕྱིར་དུ་དེ་ལས་སློང་བར་མཛད་པའི་ཕྱིར།
The subject - that bodhisattva - there is a reason for the Conquerors waking them from cessation because if they were to completely absorb into that, then they would fall into the extreme of annihilation or the extreme of peace; if they fall into that, then others' welfare would be interrupted; therefore, they wake them in order to accomplish the qualities of the Form Body, the Ten strengths and so forth.
