Abider in Non-Returner

འབྲས་གནས་བཞིའི་ནང་ཚན་གང་ཞིག །ཐ་མའི་ཆ་མཐུན་ལྔ་སྤངས་པས་རབ་ཏུ་ཕྱེ་བའི་རིགས་སུ་གནས་པའི་དགེ་སྦྱོང་ཚུལ་གྱི་འབྲས་བུ་ལ་གནས་པ།
ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་འབྲས་གནས་ཀྱི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition: Someone who is:

1. A subdivision of the four Abiders and
2. Abiding in the result of the Way of the Śramaṇa that abides in the class distinguished by having abandoned the five partial concordances with the lower.

འདོད་པར་ལས་ཉོན་གྱིས་ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་བ་སྟེ། སྐྱེ་བ་མི་ལེན་པས་ན་ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་།
Etymology: due to not returning to, i.e. not taking rebirth in, the Desire Realm due to karma and afflictions.

Division by way of faculty: དབང་པོའི་སྒོ་ནས།

1. Faithful Abiders in Non-Returner དད་མོས་པའི་ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་།

2. Abiders in Non-Returner attainers through seeing མཐོང་ཐོབ་པའི་ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་།

Division by way of actualising the result: འབྲས་བུ་མངོན་དུ་བྱེད་ཚུལ་གྱི་སྒོ་ནས།

1. Leaper Abider in Non-Returner འབྲས་བུ་ཐོད་རྒལ་བའི་ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་།

དང་པོ་དང་ཆགས་བྲལ་སྔོན་སོང་གི་ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་། མཐོང་ལམ་གྱི་སྔ་རོལ་ཏུ་འདོད་ཉོན་དགུ་པ་སྤངས་པའི་ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་།
དེའི་སྔ་རོལ་ཏུ་བསམ་གཏན་གྱི་དངོས་གཞིའི་སྙོམས་འཇུག་ཐོབ་པའི་ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་རྣམས་དོན་གཅིག
The first is mutually inclusive with:

• Non-Returner Previously separated from attachment,
• Non-Returner who has abandoned the ninth Desire Realm affliction prior to the path of seeing, and
• Non-Returner who has attained a meditative absorption of an actual concentration prior to [the path of seeing].

ལམ་རྗེས་ཤེས་ནས་སྲིད་ཉོན་དགུ་པའི་དངོས་གཉེན་གྱི་བར་ན་ཡོད།
Boundaries: exist from the subsequent knowledge in relation to paths and up to the direct antidote to ninth Peak of Existence affliction.

གཉིས་པ་དང་རྒྱུན་ཞུགས་ཀྱི་རྟོགས་པ་སྔོན་དུ་སོང་བའི་ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་དོན་གཅིག
The second and a Non-Returner preceded by the realisation of Stream-Enterer are mutually inclusive.

འདོད་ཉོན་དགུ་པ་སྤངས་པའི་རྣམ་གྲོལ་ལམ་ནས། སྲིད་ཉོན་དགུ་པའི་དངོས་གཉེན་གྱི་བར་དུ་ཡོད།
Boundaries: exist from the liberated path that has abandoned the ninth Desire Realm affliction and up to the direct antidote to ninth Peak of Existence affliction.

1. Mere Abiders in Non-Returner ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་འབྲས་གནས་ཙམ་པོ་བ།
