Abider in Once-Returner

འབྲས་གནས་བཞིའི་ནང་ཚན་གང་ཞིག །ཕལ་ཆེར་ལ་འདོད་ཆགས་དང་བྲལ་བས་རབ་ཏུ་ཕྱེ་བའི་རིགས་སུ་གནས་པའི་དགེ་སྦྱོང་ཚུལ་གྱི་འབྲས་བུ་ལ་གནས་པ།
ཕྱིར་འོང་འབྲས་གནས་ཀྱི་མཚན་ཉིད་ཡིན།
Definition: Someone who is:

1. A subdivision of the four Abiders and
2. Abiding in the result of the Way of the Śramaṇa that abides in the class distinguished by being mostly separated from attachment.

Division by way of the mode of attaining the result: འབྲས་བུ་ཐོབ་ཚུལ་གྱི་སྒོ་ནས།

1. Leaper Once-Returners འབྲས་བུ་ཐོད་རྒལ་པའི་ཕྱིར་འོང་།
2. Gradualist Once-Returners འབྲས་བུ་རིམ་གྱིས་པའི་ཕྱིར་འོང་།

Division by way of faculty: དབང་པོའི་སྒོ་ནས།

1. Dull faculty Faithful Once-Returners དབང་རྟུལ་དད་མོས་པའི་ཕྱིར་འོང་།
2. Sharp faculty Once-Returner attainers through seeing དབང་རྣོན་མཐོང་ཐོབ་པའི་ཕྱིར་འོང་།

Division by way of application: སྦྱོར་བའི་སྒོ་ནས་

1. Mere Abider in Once-Returner ཕྱིར་འོང་འབྲས་གནས་ཙམ་པོ་བ།
2. Special Abider in Once-Returner ཕྱིར་འོང་འབྲས་ཁྱད་པར་ཅན།

འདོད་པར་རིགས་མཐུན་གྱི་ལན་ཅིག་ཕྱིར་འོང་བ་སྟེ། སྐྱེ་སྲིད་གཅིག་ལེན་པས་ན་དེ་ལྟར་བརྗོད་པའི་ཕྱིར།
Etymology: due to returning once, i.e. taking one birth-existence of concordant class in the desire realm.
