Approacher to Foe-Destroyer

ཞུགས་པ་བཞིའི་ནང་ཚན་གང་ཞིག གོང་མའི་ཆ་མཐུན་ལྔ་སྤངས་པས་རབ་ཏུ་ཕྱེ་བའི་དགེ་སྦྱོང་ཚུལ་གྱི་འབྲས་བུ་ཐོབ་ཕྱིར་དུ་བརྩོན་བཞིན་པའི་སྦྱོར་བ་རྒྱུན་ཆགས་ལ་གནས་པ། དགྲ་བཅོམ་ཞུགས་པའི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition: Someone who is:

1. A subdivision of the four Approachers and
2. Abiding in a continuous application of effort in order to attain the result of the Way of the Śramaṇa that abides in the class distinguished by having abandoned the five partial concordances with the upper.

Divisions:

1. Simultaneous Abandoner Approachers to Foe-Destroyer སྤང་བྱ་ཅིག་ཅར་པའི་དགྲ་བཅོམ་ཞུགས་པ།
2. Serialist Approachers to Foe-Destroyer སྤང་བྱ་རིམ་གྱིས་པའི་དགྲབཅོམ་ཞུགས་པ།

སྒོམ་སྤང་ལྷག་མ་སྤོང་བ་ལ་བརྩོན་པ་ནས་སྲིད་ཉོན་དགུ་པའི་དངོས་གཉེན་གྱི་བར་དུ་ཡོད།
Boundaries: exist from striving to abandon the remaining objects of abandonment of the path of meditation and up to the direct antidote to the ninth Peak of Existence affliction.

དགྲ་བཅོམ་པའི་འབྲས་བུ་ལ་ཞུགས་པ་སྟེ་དེ་ཐོབ་པའི་ཕྱིར་དུ་བརྩོན་བཞིན་པའི་སྦྱོར་བ་རྒྱུན་ཆགས་ལ་གནས་པས་དེ་སྐད་ཅེས་བྱའོ།
Etymology: due to approaching the result of Foe-Destroyer, i.e. abiding in a continuous application of effort in order to attain that.
