five partial concordances with the lower

ཐ་མའི་ཆ་མཐུན་ལྔ་པོ་དེ་ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་གི་འབྲས་བུ་ཐོབ་པ་ལ་གེགས་བྱེད་པའི་གཙོ་བོ་ཡིན།
The five partial concordances with the lower are the main obstacle to attaining the result of Non-Returner:

• The three entanglements that are objects of abandonment of the path of seeing
  མཐོང་སྤང་ཀུན་སྦྱོར་གསུམ།
• Aspiration for the Desire realm འདོད་པ་ལ་འདུན་པ།
• Harmful intent གནོད་སེམས།

Mode of acting as hindrances: གེགས་བྱེད་ཚུལ་ཡོད་དེ།

• The first three connect the person in whose continuum they are in with rebirth in the lowest migrations;
  དང་པོ་གསུམ་པོ་དེས་རང་རྒྱུད་ལྡན་གྱི་གང་ཟག་འགྲོ་བའི་ཐ་མར་སྐྱེ་བ་ལ་སྦྱོར་བར་བྱེད།
• The latter two connect those with rebirth in the Desire Realm, i.e. the lowest realm
  ཕྱི་མ་གཉིས་པོས་དེ་ཁམས་ཀྱི་ཐ་མ་འདོད་ཁམས་སུ་སྐྱེ་བ་ལ་སྦྱོར་བར་བྱེད་པའི་ཕྱིར།
