The are five partial concordances with the upper: གོང་མའི་ཆ་མཐུན་ལྔ་ཡོད་དེ།

• The two attachments of the Form Realm and Formless Realm གཟུགས་གཟུགས་མེད་ཀྱི་འདོད་ཆགས་གཉིས།
• Excitement རྒོད་པ།
• Pride ང་རྒྱལ།
• Afflicted ignorance ཉོན་མོངས་ཅན་གྱི་མ་རིག་པ།

དང་པོ་གཉིས་པོ་དེས་ཁམས་གོང་མའི་སྐྱེ་བ་འཛིན་པའི་རྒྱུ་བྱེད་ཅིང་། ཐ་མ་གསུམ་པོ་དེས་ཁམས་གོང་མ་ལས་མི་འདའ་བར་བྱེད་པའི་ཕྱིར།
Etymology: due to the first two acting as the cause for taking Upper Realm rebirth and the latter three acting as the cause for not passing beyond the Upper Realms.

གོང་མའི་ཆ་དང་མཐུན་རྣམ་ལྔ། །གཟུགས་དང་གཟུགས་མེད་ལས་སྐྱེས་པའི། །འདོད་ཆགས་གཉིས་རྒོད་ང་རྒྱལ་རྨོངས།
