Gradualists by way of result

སྦྱོར་ལམ་སྟན་གཅིག་པའི་རྟོགས་པ་ཐོབ་པའི་ཉན་ཐོས་གང་ཞིག འབྲས་བུ་བཞི་རིམ་གྱིས་མངོན་དུ་བྱེད་པར་འགྱུར་བ་དང་བྱས་པ་གང་རུང་གི་རིགས་ཅན།
རིམ་གྱིས་པའི་ཉན་ཐོས་ཀྱི་དགེ་འདུན་གྱི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition of a Gradualist Hearer Saṅgha: Someone who is

1. A Hearer that has attained the realisation of the single-session path of preparation and
2. In the class of either having actualised or who will actualise the four results gradually.

འབྲས་བུ་བཞི་རིམ་གྱིས་མངོན་དུ་བྱས་སམ་བྱེད་པར་འགྱུར་བའི་ཉན་ཐོས་ཡིན་པས་ན་འབྲས་བུ་རིམ་གྱིས་པ་ཞེས་བྱའོ།
Etymology: Due to being Hearers who have actualised or will actualise the four results gradually.

There exist Gradualists for all four results

འབྲས་བུ་རིམ་གྱིས་པའི་རྒྱུན་ཞུགས་ཡོད་དེ། འབྲས་བུ་ཕྱི་མ་གསུམ་རིམ་གྱིས་མངོན་དུ་བྱེད་པའི་རྒྱུན་ཞུགས་ཡོད། དེ་ཡིན་ན་འབྲས་བུ་རིམ་གྱིས་པ་ཡིན་དགོས་པའི་ཕྱིར།
There are Gradualist Stream-Enterers because 1) there are Stream-Enterers who actualise the latter three results gradually and 2) if it is that, it is necessarily a Gradualist.

དེ་འདྲའི་ཕྱིར་འོང་ཡོད་དེ། རྒྱུན་ཞུགས་ཀྱི་རྟོགས་པ་སྔོན་དུ་སོང་བའི་ཕྱིར་འོང་ཡོད། དེ་ཡིན་ན་དེ་ཡིན་དགོས་པའི་ཕྱིར།
There are such Once-Returners because 1) there are Once-Returners who are preceded by the realisation of Stream-Enterer and 2) if it is that, it is necessarily that.

དེ་འདྲའི་ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་ཡོད་དེ། རྒྱུན་ཞུགས་དང་ཕྱིར་འོང་གི་རྟོགས་པ་སྔོན་དུ་སོང་བའི་ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་ཡོད། དེ་ཡིན་ན་དེ་ཡིན་དགོས་པའི་ཕྱིར།
There are such Non-Returners because 1) there are Non-Returners who are preceded by the realisations of Stream-Enterer and Once-Returner and 2) if it is that, it is necessarily that.

དེ་འདྲའི་དགྲ་བཅོམ་ཡོད་དེ། འབྲས་བུ་བཞི་རིམ་གྱིས་མངོན་དུ་བྱས་པའི་ཉན་ཐོས་དགྲ་བཅོམ་ཡོད། དེ་ཡིན་ན་འབྲས་བུ་རིམ་གྱིས་པ་ཡིན་དགོས་པའི་ཕྱིར།
There are such Foe-Destroyers because 1) there are Hearer Foe-Destroyers who have actualised the four results gradually and 2) if it is that, it is necessarily a Gradualist.
