Pass beyond in the intermediate-state
གཟུགས་སུ་ཉེར་འགྲོའི་ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་གང་ཞིག །གཟུགས་ཀྱི་བར་སྲིད་དུ་ཉིང་མཚམས་སྦྱོར་བའི་རིགས་ཅན།
གཟུགས་སུ་ཉེར་འགྲོའི་ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་བར་འདའ་བའི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition: Someone who is:
- A Non-Returner proceeding to the Form Realm and
- In the class of taking rebirth in a Form Realm intermediate-state.
ཚངས་ཆེན་མ་གཏོགས་གཟུགས་ཁམས་གནས་རིགས་བཅུ་དྲུག་གི་བར་འདའ་བ་བཅུ་དྲུག །དེ་རེ་རེ་ལ་ཡང་མྱུར་བར་འདའ་བ་སོགས་གསུམ་གསུམ་དུ་ཡོད།
Divisions: There are sixteen who pass beyond in the intermediate-state in relation to the sixteen types of Form Realm abodes (excluding Great Brahma) and each of those also has three:
- Who pass beyond quickly མྱུར་བར་འདའ་བ།
- Who do not pass beyond quickly མྱུར་བ་མ་ཡིན་པར་འདའ་བ།
- Who pass beyond after a long time དུས་ཡུན་རིང་མོ་ཞིག་ནས་འདའ་བ།
བར་འདའ་བའི་ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་ལ་གཟུགས་སུ་ཉེར་འགྲོའི་ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་བར་འདའ་བས་མ་ཁྱབ་སྟེ།
གཟུགས་སུ་ཉེར་འགྲོའི་ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་གཟུགས་ཀྱི་བར་སྲིད་དུ་སྐྱེས་མ་ཐག་པའི་ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་དེ། བར་འདའ་བའི་ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་ཡིན་ཡང་དེ་ཅིག་ཤོས་མ་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
Non-Returners who pass beyond in the intermediate-state are not pervaded by being Non-Returners proceeding to the Form Realm who pass beyond in the intermediate-state because a Non-Returner proceeding to the Form Realm who has just been born in the Form Realm intermediate-state is 1) a Non-Returner who passes beyond in the intermediate-state but 2) not the other.
གཟུགས་ཀྱི་བར་སྲིད་ཀྱི་རྟེན་ལ་མྱང་འདས་མངོན་དུ་བྱེད་པའི་གཟུགས་སུ་ཉེར་འགྲོའི་ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་ཡིན་ན། གཟུགས་སུ་ཉེར་འགྲོའི་ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་བར་འདའ་བ་ཡིན་པས་མ་ཁྱབ་སྟེ། ཚངས་པ་མདུན་ན་འདོན་གྱི་བར་སྲིད་ཀྱི་རྟེན་ལ་མྱང་འདས་མངོན་དུ་བྱེད་པའི་གཟུགས་སུ་ཉེར་འགྲོའི་ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་གོང་འཕོ་བ་ཡོད་པའི་ཕྱིར།
If it is a Non-Returner proceeding to the Form Realm and actualising Nirvāṇa on a Form Realm intermediate-existence support, they are not pervaded by being a Non-Returner proceeding to the Form Realm who passes beyond in the intermediate-state because there are Non-Returners who transfer to the Upper Realms, proceed to the Form Realm, and actualise Nirvāṇa on an In Front of Brahma intermediate-existence support.
