Simultaneous Abandoners (extensive)

དེ་དགུ་མཐོང་ལམ་ཐོབ་རྗེས་སུ་སྤོང་བ་ཡིན་ཏེ། དེས་དེའི་སྔ་རོལ་ཏུ་སྲིད་ཉོན་དགུ་པ་སྤོང་མི་ནུས་པའི་ཕྱིར།
Those nine are abandoned after having attained the path of seeing because they are not able to abandon the ninth Peak of Existence affliction prior to that.

དེས་དེ་དགུ་བསམ་གཏན་དང་པོའི་ཉེར་བསྡོགས་མི་ལྕོགས་མེད་ལ་བརྟེན་ནས་སྤོང་བ་ཡིན་ཏེ།
དེ་དང་བསམ་གཏན་དང་པོའི་དངོས་གཞི་གང་རུང་ལ་བརྟེན་ནས་སྤོང་ན་ཕྱི་མ་མ་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར་ཏེ།
དེས་བསམ་གཏན་དང་པོའི་དངོས་གཞི་ཐོབ་ན་འདོད་པ་ལ་ཆགས་བྲལ་བྱས་ཟིན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
They abandon those nine in dependence upon the preparation for the first concentration [called] “Not Unable” because abandoning those could either be in dependence upon that or the actual first concentration and it is not the latter; because if they would have attained an actual concentration, they would already have separated from attachment to the Desire Realm.

དེས་དེ་དགུ་འདས་ལམ་ལ་བརྟེན་ནས་སྤོང་སྟེ། དེ་དང་འཇིག་རྟེན་པའི་ལམ་གང་རུང་ལ་བརྟེན་ནས་སྤོང་ན་ཕྱི་མ་མ་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
དེ་ལ་བརྟེན་ནས་སྲིད་ཉོན་དགུ་པ་སྤོང་མི་ནུས་པའི་ཕྱིར།
They abandon those nine in dependence upon a supramundane path because abandoning those could either be in dependence upon that or a mundane path and it is not the latter; because it is not possible to abandon the ninth Peak of Existence affliction in dependence upon [a mundane path].

དེས་དེ་དགུ་སྤོང་ཚུལ་ཡོད་དེ། དེས་དེ་ཆེན་པོའི་ཆེན་པོ་དགུ་ཅིག་ཅར་དུ་སྤོང་བ་ནས་ཆུང་ངུའི་ཆུང་ངུ་དགུ་ཅིག་ཅར་དུ་སྤོང་བའི་ཕྱིར།
There is a way in which they abandon those nine because [starting] from abandoning the nine great of the great simultaneously, they abandon [up to] the nine small of the small simultaneously.

དེ་ཞུགས་གནས་ཐོག་མཐའ་གཉིས་ཁོ་ན་ལ་བཞག་སྟེ། བར་པ་གཉིས་ལ་དེ་བཞག་ཏུ་མི་རུང་བའི་ཕྱིར།
That is posited only for the first and last Approachers and Abiders because it is not suitable to posit that for the middle two.

སྤང་བྱ་ཅིག་ཅར་བའི་རྒྱུན་ཞུགས་ཕལ་ཆེ་བས་མཐོང་ལམ་ཐོབ་པའི་ཚེ་དེ་ལ་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པའི་འབྲས་བུ་མངོན་དུ་བྱེད། དེ་ལ་མ་བྱས་ན་འདོད་པའི་བར་སྲིད་ཀྱི་རྟེན་ལ་བྱེད།
དེ་ལ་མ་བྱས་ན་འདོད་པའི་སྐྱེ་སྲིད་དུ་སྐྱེ་བ་བླངས་ནས་སངས་རྒྱས་དང་ཕྲད་ན་དེའི་ཉན་ཐོས་དང་། དེ་དང་མ་ཕྲད་ན་རང་རྒྱལ་གྱི་འབྲས་བུ་མངོན་དུ་བྱེད་པའི་ཕྱིར།
Most Simultaneous Abandoner Stream-Enterers actualise the result of Foe-Destroyer in the lifetime where they attain the path of seeing.
If they have not [actualised it] in that [lifetime], they will do so on the support of a Desire Realm intermediate-existence. If they have not done so upon that [support], they will take rebirth in a Desire Realm birth-existence and if they meet with a Buddha, they will actualise the result of a Hearer, whereas if they do not meet with one, they will actualise the result of Solitary-Realiser.
