Those who pass away to all abodes
གཟུགས་སུ་ཉེར་འགྲོའི་ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་གོང་འཕོ་འོག་མིན་མཐར་ཐུག་འགྲོ་གང་ཞིག །ཚངས་ཆེན་མ་གཏོགས་གཟུགས་ཀྱི་གནས་རིགས་བཅུ་དྲུག་རིམ་གྱིས་བགྲོད་དེ་
འོག་མིན་གྱི་རྟེན་ལ་མྱང་འདས་མངོན་དུ་བྱེད་པའི་རིགས་ཅན། གཟུགས་སུ་ཉེར་འགྲོའི་ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་གོང་འཕོ་གནས་ཐམས་ཅད་དུ་འཆི་འཕོ་བའི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition: Someone who is:
- A Non-Returner proceeding to the Form Realm who transfers to the Upper Realms and ultimately proceeds to Akaniṣṭha and
- In the class of actualising Nirvāṇa on an Akaniṣṭha support, having proceeded gradually through the sixteen types of Form Realm abodes (excluding Great Brahma).
གཟུགས་སུ་ཉེར་འགྲོའི་ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་གོང་འཕོ་ཡང་དེས་རྒྱུའི་གནས་སྐབས་སུ་སྔར་བཞིན་བྱས་པས་ཤི་འཕོས་ཏེ་ཚངས་རིས་སུ་སྐྱེ་བ་བླངས།
རྟེན་དེ་ལ་བསམ་གཏན་གྱི་སྤེལ་སྒོམ་བྱེད་མི་ནུས་པར་ཤི་འཕོས་ཏེ། ཚངས་ཆེན་མ་གཏོགས་འབྲས་བུ་ཆེ་བའི་བར་རྣམས་སུ་རིམ་གྱིས་སྐྱེ་བ་བླངས།
རྟེན་དེ་ལ་བསམ་གཏན་གྱི་སྤེལ་སྒོམ་ཆུང་ངུ་གསུམ་སྤེལ་བྱས་པས་མི་ཆེ་བར་སྐྱེ་བ་བླངས། རྟེན་དེ་ལ་འབྲིང་དྲུག་སྤེལ་བྱས། མི་གདུང་བར་སྐྱེ་བ་བླངས།
རྟེན་དེ་ལ་ཆེན་པོ་དགུ་སྤེལ་བྱས། གྱ་ནོམ་སྣང་བར་སྐྱེ་བ་བླངས། རྟེན་དེ་ལ་ཤིན་ཏུ་ཆེན་པོ་བཅུ་གཉིས་སྤེལ་བྱས། ཤིན་ཏུ་མཐོང་བར་སྐྱེ་པ་བླངས།
རྟེན་དེ་ལ་ཆེས་ཤིན་ཏུ་ཆེན་པོ་བཅོ་ལྔ་སྤེལ་བྱས། འོག་མིན་དུ་སྐྱེ་བ་བླངས་ཏེ། རྟེན་དེ་ལ་མྱང་འདས་མངོན་དུ་བྱེད་པའི་ཆ་ནས་དེ་གནས་ཐམས་ཅད་དུ་འཆི་འཕོ་བར་བཞག
Non-Returners proceeding to the Form Realm who transfer to the Upper Realms who pass away to all abodes are posited from the perspective of:
- Passing away and taking rebirth in Brahma Class having done as above at the time of the cause; then
- Not being able to engage in the cultivation of alternating concentrations, they pass away and take progressive rebirths up to Great Result (excluding Great Brahma); then
- By having engaged in the small cultivation of alternating concentrations of three alternations on that support, they take rebirth in Not Great; then
- Having engaged in the middling of six alternations on that support, they take rebirth in Without Pain; then
- Having engaged in the great of nine alternations on that support, they take rebirth in Excellent Appearance; then
- Having engaged in the very great of twelve alternations on that support, they take rebirth in Great Perception; then
- Having engaged in the exceedingly great of fifteen alternations on that support, they take rebirth in Akaniṣṭha; and then
- They actualise Nirvāṇa on that support.
