Transfer to the Upper Realms
གཟུགས་ཁམས་སུ་སྐྱེ་བ་གཉིས་བརྒྱུད་དུ་བླངས་ནས་འོག་མིན་དང་སྲིད་རྩེ་གང་རུང་གི་རྟེ ན་ལ་མྱང་འདས་མངོན་དུ་བྱེད་པའི་རིགས་ཅན།
གཟུགས་སུ་ཉེར་འགྲོའི་ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་གོང་འཕོ་བའི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition: Someone in the class of actualising Nirvāṇa on either an Akaniṣṭha or Peak of Existence support, having taken two consecutive rebirths in the Form Realm.
རིགས་ཅན་སྨོས་པ་ལ་དགོས་པ་ཡོད་དེ། ཚངས་རིས་ཀྱི་རྟེན་ལ་མྱང་འདས་མངོན་དུ་བྱེད་པའི་གཟུགས་སུ་ཉེར་འགྲོའི་ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་གོང་འཕོ་དང་། གནས་གཙང་དང་པོ་གསུམ་གང་རུང་གི་རྟེན་ལ་དེ་མངོན་དུ་བྱེད་པའི་ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་གོང་འཕོ་བ་རྣམས་བསྡུ་པར་བྱ་བའི་ཆེད་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
There is a purpose for saying “in the class”; it is in order to include Non-Returners proceeding to the Form Realm who transfer to the Upper Realms and actualise Nirvāṇa on a Brahma Class support as well as Non-Returners proceeding to the Form Realm who transfer to the Upper Realms and actualise [Nirvāṇa] on the support of any of the first three Pure Abodes.
ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་གོང་འཕོ་བ་ཡིན་ན་གཟུགས་སུ་ཉེར་འགྲོའི་ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་གོང་འཕོ་བ་ཡིན་པས་མ་ཁྱབ་སྟེ། སྔར་བཞིན་ནོ།
If it is a Non-Returner who transfers to the Upper Realms, they are not pervaded by being Non-Returners proceeding to the Form Realm who transfer to the Upper Realms; as before.
དེའི་རྗེས་སུ་གཟུགས་ཀྱི་སྐྱེ་སྲིད་འོག་མ་འོག་མ་ནས་གོང་མ་གོང་མར་འཕོ་ཞིང་འགྲོ་བས་ན་གཟུགས་སུ་ཉེར་འགྲོའི་ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་གོང་འཕོ།
Etymology: due to transferring, i.e. proceeding, higher and higher after that.
Divisions: Non-Returners proceeding to the Form Realm who transfer to the Upper Realms that:
གཟུགས་སུ་ཉེར་འགྲོའི་ཕྱིར་མི་འོང་གོང་འཕོ་
- Ultimately proceed to Akaniṣṭha འོག་མིན་མཐར་ཐུག་འགྲོ།
- Ultimately proceed to the Peak of Existence སྲིད་རྩེའི་མཐར་ཐུག་འགྲོ།
