སྔར་གྱི་སྲིད་པའི་རྟེན་འབྲེལ་གྱི་མཐུས་སྐྱེ་སྲིད་དུ་ཉིང་མཚམས་སྦྱར་མ་ཐག་པའི་གནས་སྐབས་ཀྱི་རྣམ་སྨིན་གྱི་ཕུང་པོའི་རིགས་སུ་གནས་པའི་
ཀུན་ནས་ཉོན་མོངས་ཕྱོགས་ཀྱི་རྟེན་འབྲེལ། སྐྱེ་བའི་རྟེན་འབྲེལ་གྱི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition of the dependent-arising of birth:
A dependent-arising of the thoroughly afflicted class that abides in the class of the fruitional aggregates on the occasion of just having connected with the birth-existence through the force of the preceding dependent-arising of existence.

When divided there are four which are that:

Spontaneous birth རྫུས་སྐྱེས།
Birth from heat and moisture དྲོད་གཤེར་སྐྱེས།
Birth from a womb མངལ་སྐྱེས།
Birth from an egg སྒོང་སྐྱེས།
