Three Natures

1. Imputational Nature ཀུན་བརྟགས།
2. Other-Powered Nature གཞན་དབང་།
3. Thoroughly-Established Nature ཡོངས་གྲུབ།

Three natures wrt form:

རྟོག་པ་ལ་གཟུགས་སུ་སྣང་བ་གཟུགས་ཀྱི་ཀུན་བརྟགས་ཡིན། དེ་དང་ཀུན་བརྟགས་ཀྱི་གཟུགས་དོན་གཅིག
The appearance as form to a conceptual consciousness is the imputational nature of form.
That and thoroughly imputed form are mutually inclusive.

སྔོ་སེར་ལ་སོགས་པ་རྣམས་རྣམ་པར་བཏགས་པའི་གཟུགས། དེ་དང་གཟུགས་ཀྱི་གཞན་དབང་དོན་གཅིག
Blue, yellow, and so forth are completely designated forms.
That and other-powered nature of form are mutually inclusive.

གཟུགས་བདེན་པས་སྟོང་པ་དེ། གཟུགས་ཀྱི་ཆོས་ཉིད་དང་ཆོས་ཉིད་ཀྱི་གཟུགས་ཡིན། དེ་དང་གཟུགས་ཀྱི་ཡོངས་གྲུབ་དོན་གཅིག་གོ
Form's emptiness of true existence is the dharmata of form and the form of dharmata.
That and the thoroughly-established nature of form are mutually inclusive.

• Cittamatra:
  • Other-powered nature of form: Form
  • Imputational nature of form: Form and the valid cognition apprehending form being different substances
  • Thoroughly-established nature of form: The other-powered nature of form being empty of the imputational nature of form.
• Madhyamaka:
  • Other-powered nature of form: Form
  • Imputational nature of form: Truly established form
  • Thoroughly-established nature of form: Form's emptiness of true establishment / same as above
