Arya Bodhisattva grounds
སྙིང་རྗེ་ཆེན་པོ་དང་སྟོང་ཉིད་མངོན་སུམ་དུ་རྟོགས་པའི་ཤེས་རབ་ཀྱིས་ཟིན་པའི་བྱང་སེམས་འཕགས་པའི་མངོན་རྟོགས་དེ།
བྱང་སེམས་འཕགས་པའི་སའི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition: An Arya Bodhisattva's clear realisation that is conjoined with great compassion and the wisdom directly realising emptiness.
Divisions:
- Very Joyful རབ་ཏུ་དགའ་བ། / Generosity སྦྱིན་པ།
- Stainless དྲི་མ་མེད་པ། / Ethics ཚུལ་ཁྲིམས།
- Illuminating འོད་བྱེད་པ། / Patience བཟོད་པ།
- Radiant འོད་འཕྲོ་བ། / Joyous Effort བརྩོན་འགྲུས།
- Difficult to Overcome སྦྱང་དཀའ་བ། / Concentration བསམ་གཏན།
- Manifest མངོན་དུ་གྱུར་པ། / Wisdom ཤེས་རབ།
- Gone Afar རིང་དུ་སོང་བ། / Method ཐབས།
- Immovable མི་གཡོ་བ། / Power སྟོབས།
- Good Intelligence ལེགས་པའི་བློ་གྲོས། / Prayer སྨོན་ལམ།
- Dharma Cloud ཆོས་ཀྱི་སྤྲིན། / Exalted Wisdom ཡེ་ཤེས།
ཚུལ་ཁྲིམས་ཀྱི་ཕར་ཕྱིན་ཡན་ཆད་ཀྱི་ཉམས་ལེན་ལྷག་པར་མ་ཐོབ་ཅིང་།
ཕར་ཕྱིན་བཅུའི་ནང་ནས་སྦྱིན་པའི་ཕར་ཕྱིན་གྱི་ཉམས་ལེན་ལྷག་པར་ཐོབ་པའི་ས་དང་པོའི་ཡེ་ཤེས་དེ། ས་དང་པོ་རབ་ཏུ་དགའ་བའི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition of the first ground (Very Joyful): An exalted wisdom of the first ground that:
- Has not attained the surpassing practice of the perfection of ethics and above; but
- Has attained the surpassing practice of the perfection of generosity (from among the ten perfections).
Apply similarly to the rest. Jetsunpa: the perfection of generosity (etc.) does not exist on the learner paths.
