རང་གང་ལ་ལྡན་པའི་ས་དེའི་སྐྱོན་སེལ་ཞིང་ཡོན་ཏན་རྫོགས་པར་བྱེད་པའི་ཡོན་ཏན། སའི་ཡོངས་སྦྱོང་གི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition: A quality that functions to eliminate the faults and complete the qualities of the ground possessing those.

སའི་སྐྱོན་སེལ་བར་བྱེད་ཅིང་ཡོན་ཏན་རྫོགས་པར་བྱེད་པའི་ས་དང་པོའི་ཡེ་ཤེས། ས་དང་པོའི་ཡོངས་སྦྱོང་གི་མཚན་ཉིད། དེས་གཞན་རྣམས་ལ་རིགས་འདྲ།
Definition of the first ground's: An exalted wisdom of the first ground that functions to eliminate the faults and complete the qualities of that ground.

Divisions:

Very Joyful (10) རབ་ཏུ་དགའ་བ།
1. Non-deceptive attitude wrt all bases (sentient beings) གཞི་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་གྱ་གྱུ་མེད་པའི་བསམ་པ།
2. Only benefitting the purposes of self and others རང་དང་གཞན་གྱི་དགོས་པ་ལ་ཕན་པ་ཉིད།
3. Single-mindedness wrt all sentient beings སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་སེམས་གཅིག་པ་ཉིད།
4. Completely giving away all possessions བདོག་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་ཡོངས་སུ་གཏོང་བ།
5. Respecting the virtuous spiritual friend དགེ་བའི་བཤེས་གཉེན་མགུ་བར་བྱེད་པ།
6. Wishing for the objects of the holy dharma included in the three vehicles
  ཐེག་པ་གསུམ་དུ་གཏོགས་པའི་དམ་པའི་ཆོས་ཀྱི་དམིགས་པ་འདོད་པ།
7. Not overly delighting in remaining a householder ཁྱིམ་ན་གནས་པ་ལ་མངོན་པར་མི་དགའ་བ།
8. Wishing for the Body of the unsurpassed Buddha བླ་ན་མེད་པའི་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་སྐུ་འདོད་པ།
9. Teaching the holy dharma དམ་པའི་ཆོས་རབ་ཏུ་སྟོན་པ།
10. Only speaking truth བདེན་པར་སྨྲ་བ་ཉིད།
Stainless (8) དྲི་མ་མེད་པ།
1. Ethics of virtuous dharma, enacting the welfare of sentient beings, and restraint
  དགེ་བའི་ཆོས་དང་སེམས་ཅད་གྱི་དོན་བྱ་བ་དང་། སྡོམ་པའི་ཚུལ་ཁྲིམས།
2. Remembering the benefit done by others གཞན་གྱིས་ཕན་པ་བྱས་པ་དྲན་པ།
3. Being patient with the harm done by others etc. གཞན་གྱིས་གནོད་པ་བྱས་པ་ལ་སོགས་པ་བཟོད་པ།
4. No regret wrt practicing virtuous dharma དགེ་བའི་ཆོས་སྒྲུབ་པ་ལ་འགྱོད་པ་མེད་པ།
5. Love towards all beings སྐྱེ་བོ་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་བྱམས་པ།
6. Bowing to the abbot and so forth མཁན་པོ་ལ་སོགས་པ་ལ་འདུད་པ།
7. Practicing the dharma taught by the virtuous spiritual friend དགེ་བའི་བཤེས་གཉེན་གྱིས་བསྟན་པའི་ཆོས་སྒྲུབ་པ།
8. Delighting in the six perfections (generosity etc.) སྦྱིན་པ་ལ་སོགས་པའི་ཕ་རོལ་ཏུ་ཕྲིན་པ་དྲུག་ལ་སྤྲོ་བ།
Illuminating (5) འོད་བྱེད་པ།
1. Not knowing satisfaction in listening to the holy dharma དམ་པའི་ཆོས་མཉན་པས་ངོམས་མི་ཤེས་པ།
2. Teaching the holy dharma without regard to gain and so forth
  རྙེད་པ་ལ་སོགས་པ་ལ་མི་ལྟ་བའི་སེམས་ཀྱིས་དམ་པའི་ཆོས་རབ་ཏུ་སྟོན་པ།
3. Training in one's complete Buddha-field (support and supported)
  རང་གི་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཞིང་རྟེན་དང་བརྟེན་པ་ཀུན་ཏུ་སྦྱོང་བ།
4. Not getting discouraged upon seeing the errors etc. of sentient beings one has benefitted
  ཕན་བཏགས་པའི་སེམས་ཅན་མི་མཐུན་པ་ལ་སོགས་པ་མཐོང་བས་ཡོངས་སུ་མི་སྐྱོ་བ།
5. Not engaging in non-virtuous dharma in relation to oneself and others
  རང་དང་གཞན་ལ་ལྟོས་ནས་མི་དགེ་བའི་ཆོས་མི་བྱེད་པ།
Radiant (10) འོད་འཕྲོ་བ།
1. Abiding in solitude དགོན་པར་གནས་པ།
2. Without desire for unattained gain རྙེད་པ་མ་ཐོབ་པ་ལ་མངོན་པར་འདོད་པ་མེད་པ།
3. Without striving for attaining gain རྙེད་པ་ཐོབ་པ་ལ་ལྷག་པར་དོན་དུ་གཉེར་བ་མེད་པ།
4. Thoroughly keeping the qualities of training such as going for alms etc.
  བསོད་སྙོམས་པ་ཉིད་ལ་སོགས་བ་སྦྱངས་པའི་ཡོན་ཏན་ཡང་དག་པར་སྡོམ་པ།
5. Not discarding the adopted trainings even for the sake of one's life
  བསླབ་པ་བླངས་པ་སྲོག་ལ་སོགས་པའི་ཕྱིར་ཡང་ཡོངས་སུ་མི་གཏོང་བ།
6. Contempt for the qualities of the desire realm through seeing their faults and disadvantages
  འདོད་པའི་ཡོན་ཏན་ལ་ཉེས་དམིགས་སུ་ལྟ་བས་སྨོད་པ།
7. Appropriately leading disciples towards nirvana གདུལ་བྱ་དང་འཚམ་པར་མྱ་ངན་ལས་འདས་པ་ལ་གཞོལ་བར་བྱེད་པ།
8. Completely giving away all possessions བདོག་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་ཡོངས་སུ་གཏོང་བ།
9. Non-discouragement wrt practicing virtue དགེ་བ་སྒྲུབ་པ་ལ་སེམས་མི་ཞུམ་པ།
10. Non-viewing of all things དངོས་པོ་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་མི་ལྟ་བ།
Difficult to Overcome (10) སྦྱང་དཀའ་བ། To be abandoned:
1. Associating with the ordained etc. for the purposes of gain and so forth
  རྙེད་པ་ལ་སོགས་པའི་དོན་དུ་རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་བ་ལ་སོགས་པ་དང་འགྲོགས་པ།
2. Not teaching faithful householders དད་པ་ཅན་གྱི་ཁྱིམ་ཉེ་བར་མི་སྟོན་པ།
3. Towns with many people and so forth སྐྱེ་བོ་མང་པོའི་གྲོང་ལ་སོགས་པ།
4. Praising oneself བདག་ལ་བསྔགས་པ།
5. Belittling others གཞན་ལ་སྨོད་པ།
6. The ten non-virtuous paths of actions མི་དགེ་བའི་ལས་ཀྱི་ལམ་བཅུ།
7. Being conceited due to study etc. and not bowing to others ཐོས་པ་ལ་སོགས་པས་རློམ་ཞིང་གཞན་ལ་མི་འདུད་པ།
8. Strong adherence having swapped virtue and non-virtue དགེ་བ་དང་མི་དགེ་བ་ལ་བཟློག་སྟེ་མངོན་པར་ཞེན་པ།
9. Bad intelligence such as wrong views and so forth ལོག་པར་ལྟ་བ་ལ་སོགས་པ་བློ་གྲོས་ངན་པ།
10. Turning towards all afflictions such as attachment and so forth
  འདོད་ཆགས་ལ་སོགས་པ་ཉོན་མོངས་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་ཕྱོགས་པར་བྱེད་པ།
Manifest (12) མངོན་དུ་གྱུར་པ།
- Through completing the six perfections, (6) respectively abandoning the minds:
  ཕ་རོལ་ཏུ་ཕྱིན་པ་དྲག་ཡོངས་སུ་རྫོགས་པས་
- Wishing for Hearer and Solitary Realiser (2) ཉན་ཐོས་དང་རང་སངས་རྒྱས་ལ་འདོད་པ་དང་།
- Fearing non-observation of entitiness ངོ་བོ་ཉིད་མི་དམིགས་པ་ལ་སྐྲག་པ་དང་།
- Discouragement when begged from by beggars སློང་བ་པོའི་སྐྱེ་བོས་བསླངས་ན་ཞུམ་པ་དང་།
- Disliking engaging in voluntarily giving away all possessions
  བདོག་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་རང་གི་དངང་གིས་གཏོང་བར་ཞུགས་པ་ལ་མི་དགའ་བ་དང་།
- Abandoning beggars despite their poverty བཀྲེན་ཡང་སློང་བའི་སྐྱེ་བོ་སྤོང་བའི་སེམས་སྤོང་བ།
Gone afar (20) རིང་དུ་སོང་བ།
Adherence viewing (1-18): ལྟ་བའི་མངོན་པར་ཞེན་པ། (and their antidotes)
1. Self བདག་དང་།
  Correct knowledge of the door of liberation of emptiness རྣམ་པར་ཐར་པའི་སྒོ་སྟོང་པ་ཉིད།
2. Sentient beings སེམས་ཅན་དང་།
  Correct knowledge of the door of liberation of signlessness མཚན་མ་མེད་པ།
3. Life སྲུག་དང་།
  Correct knowledge of the door of liberation of wishlessness སྨོན་པ་མེད་པར་ཡང་དག་པར་ཤེས་པ།
4. Persons གང་ཟག་དང་།
  Non-observation of victim, killer, and victim etc. wrt the ten virtuous paths of action
  དགེ་བ་བཅུའི་ལས་ཀྱི་ལམ་ལ་བསད་པར་བྱ་བ་དང་། གསོད་པ་པོ་དང་། བསད་པ་མི་དམིགས་པ་ལ་སོགས་པ།
5. Annihilation ཆད་པ་དང་།
  Compassion observing all beings སྐྱེ་བོ་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་དམིགས་པའི་སྙིང་བརྩེ་བ།
6. Permanence རྟག་པ་དང་།
  Non-observations as things དངོས་པོར་དམིགས་པ་མེད་པ།
7. Signs མཚན་མ་དང་།
  Realising the equality of all phenomena ཆོས་ཐམས་ཅད་མཉམ་པ་ཉིད་དུ་རྟོགས་པ།
8. Causes རྒྱུ་དང།
  Realising the Mahayana as one ཐེག་པ་ཆེན་པོ་གཅིག་ཏུ་རྟོགས་པ།

  Thoroughly knowing non-production མི་སྐྱེ་བ་ཡོངས་སུ་ཤེས་པ།

  Realising the forbearance of definite realisation of the profound dharma

  Teaching all objects of knowledge by way of the methods of the Mahayana
  ཤེས་བྱ་ཐམས་ཅད་ཐེག་པ་ཆེན་པོའི་ཐབས་ཀྱི་སྒོ་ནས་རབ་ཏུ་སྟོན་པ།
12. Abiding in the three realms ཁམས་གསུམ་པོ་ལ་གནས་པ་དང་།
  Eliminating all conceptualisations རྟོག་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་གཅོད་པ།
13. Attachment ཆགས་པ་དང་།
  No conceptualisations apprehending signs, discarding the five views such as the view of the transitory collection, and abandoning afflictions such as attachment
  མཚན་མར་འཛིན་པའི་རྟོག་པ་མེད་པ་དང་། འཇིག་ཚོགས་ལ་ལྟ་བ་ལ་སོགས་པ་ལྔ་འདོར་བ་དང་། འདོད་ཆགས་ལ་སོགས་པ་ཉོན་མོངས་པ་སྤོང་བ།
14. Discouraged mind སེམས་ཀུན་ཏུ་ཞུམ་པ་དང་།
  Cultivating calm abiding ཞི་གནས་སྒོམ་པ།
15. Buddha སངས་རྒྱས་དང་།
  Becoming skilled in wisdom and method ཤེས་རབ་དང་ཐབས་ལ་མཁས་པར་བྱེད་པ།
16. Dharma ཆོས་དང་།
  Completely pacified mind སེམས་ཉེ་བར་ཞི་བ།
17. Sangha དགེ་འདུན་དང་།
  Exalted wisdom unobstructed wrt forms and so forth གཟུགས་ལ་སོགས་པ་ལ་ཐོགས་པ་མེད་པའི་ཡེ་ཤེས།
18. Ethics ཚུལ་ཁྲིམས་སུ་ལྟ་བའི་མངོན་པར་ཞེན་པ་དང་།
  Non-sources of adherence མངོན་པར་ཞེན་པའི་གནས་མ་ཡིན་པ།
19. Disputing emptiness སྟོང་པ་ཉིད་ལ་རྩོད་པ་དང་།
  Proceeding to all Buddha-fields simultaneously as one wishes
  ཇི་ལྟར་འདོད་པ་བཞིན་དུ་དུས་མཉམ་དུ་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཞིང་ཐམས་ཅད་དུ་འགྲོ་བ།
20. Grasping to expressing contradictions འགལ་བ་བརྗོད་པ་འཛིན་པ།
  Displaying one's body everywhere in accordance with disciples
  གདལ་བྱ་དང་མཐུན་པར་ཐམས་ཅད་དུ་བདག་གི་ལུས་རབ་ཏུ་སྟོན་པ།
Immovable (8) མི་གཡོ་བ།
1. Knowing the mental activities of all sentient beings exactly as they are
  སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱི་སེམས་ཀྱི་སྤྱོད་པ་ཇི་ལྟ་བ་བཞིན་ཤེས་པ།
2. Playing with clairvoyances emanating in world-systems འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་ཁམས་སུ་རྫུ་འཕྲུལ་གྱི་མངོན་པར་ཤེས་པས་རྩེ་བ།
3. Transforming one's supporting Buddha-field into the nature of gold and so forth
  སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཞིང་རྟེན་གསེར་ལ་སོགས་པའི་ངོ་བོར་ཡོངས་སུ་སྒྱུར།
4. Pleasing the Buddhas through investigating phenomena in all aspects
  རྣམ་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་དུ་ཆོས་ཡོངས་སུ་བརྟག་པས་སངས་རྒྱས་མཉེས་པར་བྱེད་པ།
5. Generating the Divine Eye ལྷའི་མིག་སྐྱེད་པ།
6. Completely purifying sentient beings (supported) of the Buddha-field
  སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཞིང་བརྟེན་པ་སེམས་ཅན་ཡོངས་སུ་སྦྱོང་བ།
7. Always abiding in the illusion-like ཐམས་ཅད་དུ་སྒྱུ་མ་ལྟ་བུར་གནས་པ།
8. Taking planned birth having seen the welfare of all sentient beings
  སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱི་དོན་མཐོང་ནས་བློ་སྔོན་དུ་བཏང་བའི་སྐྱེ་བ་ཡོངས་སུ་འཛིན་པ།
Good Intelligence (12) ལེགས་པའི་བློ་གྲོས།
1. Limitless prayers སྨོན་ལམ་མཐའ་ཡས་པ།
2. Knowing the languages of all sentient beings (gods etc.) ལྷ་ལ་སོགས་པའི་སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱི་སྐད་ཤེས་པ།
3. Confidence inexhaustible as a river སྤོབས་པ་ཆུ་བོ་ལྟར་མི་ཟད་པ།
4. Entering the womb praised by all beings སྐྱེ་བོ་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱིས་བསྔགས་པའི་མངལ་དུ་འཇུག་པ།
5. Abiding as a king and so forth (caste) རྒྱལ་པོ་ལ་སོགས་པར་གནས་པ།
6. Being born from the sun and so forth (clan) ཉི་མ་ལ་སོགས་པ་ལས་སྐྱིས་པ།
7. Close relatives such as a mother and so forth མ་ལ་སོགས་པ་དང་ལེགས་པར་འབྲེལ་བའི་གཉེན།
8. Independent retinue རང་དབང་བའི་འཁོར།
9. Birth praised by Indra and so forth བརྒྱ་བྱིན་ལ་སོགས་པས་མངོན་པར་བསྟོད་པར་སྐྱེ་བ།
10. Definite emergence motivated by the Buddha and so forth སངས་རྒྱས་ལ་སོགས་པས་བསྐུལ་ཏེ་ངེས་པར་འབྱུང་བ།
11. The bodhi tree like a wish-fulfilling jewel ཡིད་བཞིན་གྱི་ནོར་བུ་དང་འདྲ་བའི་ཤིང་ཨ་ཤྭད་ཐ་ལ་སོགས་པ།
12. Thoroughly upholding the qualities of the Buddha and Buddha-dharma
  སངས་རྒྱས་དང་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཆོས་ཀྱི་ངོ་བོར་གྱུར་པའི་ཡོན་ཏན་ཐམས་ཅད་ཡོངས་སུ་རྫོགས་པར་བྱེད་པ།

The tenth ground (Dharma Cloud) includes all the previous grounds' complete trainings due to including all their realisations and abandonments.
