རང་གི་འདའ་བྱར་གྱུར་པའི་ས་དགུའི་རྗེས་སུ་བྱུང་ཞིང་། མདོ་ལས་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་སར་སྒྲ་བཤད་ནས་སྟོན་པའི་སེམས་དཔའི་རྣལ་འབྱོར་མཐར་ཐུག་དེ།
ས་བཅུ་པའི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition of the tenth ground: A Bodhisattva's final yoga that:

1. Arises after its surpassed nine grounds; and
2. Is explained in sutra with the term "Buddha-ground".

The surpassed nine grounds refers to:

• The eight grounds of the lower དམན་པ་ས་བརྒྱད།
• The nine causal grounds རྒྱུའི་ས་དགུ། (first nine bodhisattva grounds counted as one)

Divisions:

1. Exalted wisdom upon immediate attainment of the tenth ground ས་བཅུ་པ་ཐོབ་མ་ཐག་པའི་ཡེ་ཤེས།
2. Exalted wisdom obstructed by one birth སྐྱེ་བ་གཅིག་ཐོགས་པའི་ཡེ་ཤེས།
3. Exalted wisdom of the final existence སྲིད་པ་ཐ་མའི་ཡེ་ཤེས།

འདི་ལ་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ས་ཞེས་བཏགས་ནས་སྟོན་པའི་རྒྱུ་མཚན་ཡོད་དེ།
ས་བཅུ་པ་བ་དེས་རྗེས་ཐོབ་ཏུ་གདུལ་བྱའི་དོན་བྱེད་ཚུལ་སངས་རྒྱས་དང་མཉམ་པ་རྗེས་མཐུན་པ་ཐོབ་པས་དེ་ལྟར་བརྗོད་པའི་ཕྱིར།
Etymology: Why "Buddha-ground"? Because the tenth grounders attain a similitude with the Buddhas in terms of their mode of enacting disciples' welfare in subsequent attainment.

ས་བཅུ་པ་ལ་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ས་ཞེས་བརྗོད་པའི་རྒྱུ་མཚན་ཡོད་དེ། ས་བཅུ་པ་བ་འདིས་རྗེས་ཐོབ་ཀྱི་གནས་སྐབས་སུ་འབད་རྩོལ་རགས་པ་ཉེ་བར་ཞི་བའི་སྒོ་ནས་
གཞན་དོན་བྱེད་ཚུལ་སངས་རྒྱས་དང་མཉམ་པ་རྗེས་མཐུན་པ་ཐོབ་པའི་རྒྱུ་མཚན་གྱིས་དེ་ལྟར་བརྗོད་པའི་ཕྱིར།
It is called the Buddha-ground because during subsequent attainment, they have attained a similitude with the Buddhas in their mode of enacting disciples' welfare by way of pacifying coarse effort.

ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་སངས་རྒྱས་མ་ཡིན་པར་བརྗོད་པའི་རྒྱུ་མཚན་ཡོད་དེ། དེ་དེ་ལས་སྤངས་རྟོགས་དམན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
It is said to not be a perfectly complete Buddha because of being of inferior realisation and abandonment.
