Liberated path of the first ground

ཆོས་ཉིད་ལ་རྩེ་གཅིག་ཏུ་མཉམ་པར་བཞག་པའི་ཡེ་ཤེས་གང་ཞིག རང་དང་མཉམ་གཞག་ཐུན་གཅིག་ཏུ་གྱུར་པའི་བར་ཆད་མེད་ལམ་གྱི་ངོ་སྐལ་གྱི་སྒྲིབ་པ་སྤངས་པའི་ས་དང་པོའི་ཡེ་ཤེས་དེ། ས་དང་པོའི་རྣམ་གྲོལ་ལམ་གྱི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition of the liberated path of the first ground: That which is:

An exalted wisdom in single-pointed meditative equipoise on dharmata; and
An exalted wisdom of the first ground that has abandoned the obscurations corresponding to the uninterrupted path of the same session of meditative equipoise.

སྟོང་ཉིད་ལ་རྩེ་གཅིག་ཏུ་མཉམ་པར་གཞག་པའི་ཡེ་ཤེས་གང་ཞིག རང་དང་མཉམ་གཞག་ཐུན་གཅིག་ལས་སྐྱེས་པའི་ཐེག་ཆེན་གྱི་མཐོང་ལམ་བར་ཆད་མེད་ལམ་གྱི་ངོས་སྐལ་གྱི་སྒྲིབ་པ་ལས་གྲོལ་བའི་ཐེག་ཆེན་གྱི་བདེན་པ་མངོན་རྟོགས། ཐེག་ཆེན་གྱི་མཐོང་ལམ་རྣམ་གྲོལ་ལམ་གྱི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition of the liberated path of the Mahayana path of seeing: That which is:

An exalted wisdom in single-pointed meditative equipoise on emptiness; and
A Mahayana clear realisation of truth that is liberated from the obscurations corresponding to the uninterrupted path of the Mahayana path of seeing that arises in the same session of meditative equipoise.

Divisions: the eight knowledges ཤེས་པ་བརྒྱད།

The liberated path of the first ground and the liberated path of the Mahayana path of seeing are mutually inclusive.
