Mode of traversing the paths and grounds (Hinayana)

གནས་སྐབས་ཉན་ཐོས་སུ་རིགས་ངེས་པའི་གང་ཟག་གི་རྒྱུད་ལ་ངེས་འབྱུང་གི་བསམ་པ་བཅོས་མ་མ་ཡིན་པ་སྐྱེས་པ་ན།
དེས་ཉན་ཐོས་ཀྱི་ཚོགས་ལམ་ཆུང་ངུ་ཐོབ་པར་འཇོག དེའི་རྗེས་སུ་དེའི་རྒྱུད་ལ་དེ་འབྲིང་སྐྱེ། དེའི་རྗེས་སུ་དེའི་རྒྱུད་ལ་དེ་ཆེན་པོ་སྐྱེ།
When a Hearer of definite lineage gives rise to an uncontrived mind of definite emergence in their continuum, they are posited as having attained the Hearer's small path of accumulation; after that arise the middling and great of that.

ཉན་ཐོས་དེས། གང་ཟག་གི་བདག་མེད་ལ་དམིགས་པའི་ལྷག་མཐོང་ནམ་ཐོབ་པ་ན། དེས་ཉན་ཐོས་ཀྱི་སྦྱོར་ལམ་དྲོད་ཐོབ་པར་འཇོག
དེའི་རྗེས་སུ་ཉན་ཐོས་ཀྱི་སྦྱོར་ལམ་རྩེ་མོ་སྐྱེ། དེའི་རྗེས་སུ་སྦྱོར་ལམ་བཟོད་པ་སྐྱེ།
When that Hearer attains special insight observing the selflessness of persons, they are posited as having attained the Hearer's heat level of the path of preparation; after that arise the peak and forbearance levels.

དེའི་རྗེས་སུ་ཆོས་མཆོག་དང་། ཉན་ཐོས་ཀྱི་མཐོང་ལམ་བར་ཆད་མེད་ལམ། ཉན་ཐོས་ཀྱི་མཐོང་ལམ་རྣམ་གྲོལ་ལམ་རྣམས་མཉམ་གཞག་ཐུན་གཅིག་ལ་སྐྱེ་བ་ཡིན་ནོ།
After that, the supreme qualities level, the uninterrupted path of the Hearer's path of seeing, and the liberated path of the Hearer's path of seeing arise in a single session of meditative equipoise.

གནས་སྐབས་ཉན་ཐོས་སུ་རིགས་ངེས་པའི་ཉན་ཐོས་ཀྱི་སྦྱོར་ལམ་ཆོས་མཆོག་ལ་གནས་པའི་གང་ཟག་དེས།
གང་ཟག་གི་བདག་མེད་མངོན་སུམ་དུ་གསར་དུ་རྟོགས་པའི་མཁྱེན་པ་ནམ་ཐོབ་པ་ན། དེས་ཉན་ཐོས་ཀྱི་མཐོང་ལམ་ཐོབ་པར་འཇོག
When that Hearer abiding on the supreme qualities level of the path of preparation attains an exalted knower directly and newly realising the selflessness of persons, they are posited as having attained the Hearer's path of seeing.

དེ་འདྲའི་ཉན་ཐོས་ཀྱི་མཐོང་ལམ་དེས་གང་ཟག་གི་བདག་མེད་རྟོགས་ཟིན་གོམས་པ་ལ་བརྟེན་ནས་ཉོན་སྒྲིབ་ཆེན་པོའི་ཆེན་པོའི་དངོས་གཉེན་ནམ་ཐོབ་པ་ན།
དེས་ཉན་ཐོས་ཀྱི་སྒོམ་ལམ་ཐོབ་པར་འཇོག
When that Hearer on the path attains the direct antidote to the great of the great afflictive obscurations in dependence upon familiarisation with the previous realisation of the selflessness of persons, they are posited as having attained the Hearer's path of meditation.

དེས་ཉོན་སྒྲིབ་ནམ་སྤངས་པའི་ཚེ། ཉན་ཐོས་ཀྱི་མི་སློབ་ལམ་ཐོབ་པར་འཇོག
When they have abandoned the afflictive obscurations, they are posited as having attained the Hearer's path of no more learning.
