Adherence to signs in relation to bases and paths
Antidotes in this context are realisations of: འདིར་བསྟན་གཉེན་པོ་དེ་ལ་དུ་མ་ཡོད་དེ།
- Non-adherence to the five aggregates, thinking "Form and so forth"
ཕུང་པོ་ལྔ་ལ་གཟུགས་ལ་སོགས་པའོ་སྙམ་དུ་མངོན་པར་ཞེན་པ་མེད་པ་དང༌། - Non-adherence to the three times as the past and so forth དུས་གསུམ་ལ་འདས་སོགས་སུ་མངོན་པར་ཞེན་པ་མེད་པ་དང༌།
- Non-adherence to generosity and up to omniscience through the apprehension as "mine", thinking "I will practice this! I will attain this!" སྦྱིན་པ་ནས་རྣམ་མཁྱེན་གྱི་བར་ལ་ངར་འཛིན་པ་སྟེ་བདག་གིས་འདི་ལ་སྤྱད་པར་བྱའོ་
འདི་ཐོབ་པར་བྱའོ་སྙམ་དུ་མངོན་པར་ཞེན་པ་མེད་པ་རྟོགས་པ་རྣམས་སུ་ཡོད་པའི་ཕྱིར།
སྐབས་འདིར་བསྟན་གྱི་སྤྱོད་པ་ལ་ལྟོས་པའི་སྤང་བྱ་ཡོད་དེ།
བསྔོ་བར་བྱེད་པའི་སེམས་དང་བསྔོ་བྱའི་དགེ་བ་ལ་མཚན་མར་ཞེན་པས་རྫོགས་བྱང་དུ་བསྔོ་བའི་མཚན་བཅས་ཀྱི་སྤྱོད་པ་རྣམས་སུ་ཡོད་པའི་ཕྱིར།
དེའི་གཉེན་པོ་ཡང་ཡོད་དེ། རང་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་བདག་ནི་སྦྱིན་པ་བྱིན་པའོ་ཚུལ་ཁྲིམས་བསྲུང་བའོ་ཞེས་སོགས་སུ་མངོན་པར་རློམ་པ་བཀག་ནས་སྤྱོད་པ་དེ་ལྟ་བུ་ལ་
གདུལ་བྱ་གཞན་དག་ཀྱང་སྦྱོར་བར་བྱེད་པ་དེའི་སྒོ་ནས་རང་གཞན་གྱི་ཆགས་པའི་མཐའ་ཐམས་ཅད་འགོག་པར་བྱེད་པ་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
There is an object of abandonment relating to the practices indicated in this context: Practices of dedicating towards complete enlightenment together with signs due to adhering to signs wrt the mind doing the dedication and the virtue that is dedicated.
There is an antidote to that: Through ceasing arrogance thinking, "I am practicing generosity! I am guarding ethics!" and so forth, acting to cease all extremes of attachment to self and other by way of also connecting other disciples with such practices.
འཁོར་གསུམ་དུ་དམིགས་པ་དང་བྲལ་བས་སྦྱིན་སོགས་ལ་སྤྱོད་པ་པོ་དང་ཐོབ་པ་པོ་བདག་མེད་པར་རྟོགས་ནས་རང་དེ་ལ་གནས་ཤིང་གདུལ་བྱ་གཞན་དེ་ལ་
སྦྱོར་བར་བྱེད་པའི་བྱང་སེམས་མཐོང་ལམ་པའི་མཁྱེན་པ་ཆོས་ཅན། ཉན་རང་གི་ལམ་ལྟར་རེ་འགའ་བའི་གཉེན་པོ་མ་ཡིན་པར་རྣམ་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་དུ་གཉེན་པོ་ཡིན་ཏེ། བླང་བར་བྱ་བ་འབའ་ཞིག་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར་ཏེ། གཟུགས་སོགས་ཀྱི་གནས་ལུགས་ལ་ཡང་དག་པར་ཞུགས་པའི་ཕྱིར་དང༌།
ཆགས་པ་མངོན་ཞེན་གྱི་ཚོགས་ཀྱི་གནས་ས་བོན་ཐམས་ཅད་གཉེན་པོས་བཀག་པའི་ཕྱིར།
The subject - an exalted knower of a Bodhisattva on the path of seeing that, through being devoid of observation of the three spheres, realises the selflessness of the practitioner and attainer of generosity and so forth and acts to connect other disciples with that while abiding in that - it is not a partial antidote like the Hearer and Solitary Realiser paths, but an antidote in all aspects because it is exclusively something to be adopted; because of correctly engaging in the mode of abiding of forms and so forth and because of ceasing all seeds (i.e. the source) of the collection of adherences.
