Afflictive and knowledge obscurations

ཉོན་སྒྲིབ་དང་ཤེས་སྒྲིབ་གང་རུང་གང་ཞིག གཙོ་བོར་ཐར་པ་ཐོབ་པ་ལ་བར་དུ་གཅོད་བྱེད་ཀྱི་སྒྲིབ་པའི་རིགས་སུ་གནས་པ། ཉོན་སྒྲིབ་ཀྱི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition of afflictive obscurations: That which is:

1. Either an afflictive or knowledge obscurations; and
2. Abiding in the class of obscurations that mainly hinder the attainment of liberation.

དབྱེ་ན། རྩ་ཉོན་དྲུག །ཉེ་ཉོན་ཉི་ཤུ་རྣམས་སུ་ཡོད།
Divisions: Six root afflictions and twenty secondary afflictions.

ཉོན་སྒྲིབ་དང་ཤེས་སྒྲིབ་གང་རུང་གང་ཞིག གཙོ་བོར་ཐམས་ཅད་མཁྱེན་པ་ཐོབ་པ་ལ་བར་དུ་གཅོད་བྱེད་ཀྱི་སྒྲིབ་པའི་རིགས་སུ་གནས་པ། ཤེས་སྒྲིབ་ཀྱི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition of knowledge obscurations: That which is:

1. Either an afflictive or knowledge obscurations; and
2. Abiding in the class of obscurations that mainly hinder the attainment of omniscience.

Divisions: དབྱེ་ན། ཕྲ་རགས་གཉིས་སུ་ཡོད་དེ།

1. Coarse - conception apprehending external forms གཟུགས་ཕྱི་རོལ་དོན་འཛིན་གྱི་རྟོག་པ།
2. Subtle - true-grasping བདེན་འཛིན།
