Analysis of the powers

ཤེས་རབ་ཡིན་ན་ཤེས་རབ་ཀྱི་དབང་པོ་ཡིན་པས་མ་ཁྱབ་སྟེ། འཇིག་ལྟ་ཤེས་རབ་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར་ཏེ། དེ་ཤེས་རབ་ཉོན་མོངས་ཅན་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
If it is wisdom, it is not pervaded by being the power of wisdom because the view of the transitory collection is a wisdom; because it is an afflicted wisdom.

ཏིང་ངེ་འཛིན་ཡིན་ན་ཏིང་ངེ་འཛིན་གྱི་དབང་པོ་ཡིན་པས་མ་ཁྱབ་སྟེ།
བསམ་གཏན་དང་པོའི་དངོས་གཞི་སྙོམས་འཇུག་ཉོན་མོངས་ཅན་དུ་གྱུར་པའི་ཏིང་ངེ་འཛིན་དེ་མ་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར་ཏེ། དེ་དགེ་བ་མ་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
If it is concentration, it is not pervaded by being the power of concentration because a concentration that is an afflicted actual absorption of the first concentration is not that; because it is not virtue.

དེ་བཞིན་དུ་དྲན་པ་ཡིན་ན་དྲན་པའི་དབང་པོ་ཡིན་པས་མ་ཁྱབ་སྟེ། དྲན་པ་ཉོན་མོངས་ཅན་ཡོད་པའི་ཕྱིར།
Similarly, if it is mindfulness, it is not pervaded by being the power of mindfulness because afflicted mindfulness exists.

དད་པའི་དབང་པོ་ཡིན་ན་དད་པ་ཡིན་པས་མ་ཁྱབ་སྟེ། དད་པ་ཡིན་ན། སེམས་བྱུང་ཡིན་པས་ཁྱབ། དད་པའི་དབང་པོར་གྱུར་པའི་གཙོ་བོ་སེམས་ཡོད་པའི་ཕྱིར།
དེས་བརྩོན་འགྲུས་དང༌། དྲན་པ་དང༌། ཏིང་ངེ་འཛིན་དང༌། ཤེས་རབ་རྣམས་ལ་རིགས་འགྲེའོ།
If it is the power of faith, it is not pervaded by being faith because if it is faith, it is pervaded by being a mental factor, whereas main minds that are the power of faith exist.
Apply similarly to the other powers.

འཇིག་རྟེན་པའི་དགེ་བས་བསྡུས་པའི་དད་སོགས་དབང་པོ་ལྔ་ཆོས་ཅན། ཁྱོད་ལ་དབང་པོ་ཞེས་བརྗོད་པའི་རྒྱུ་མཚན་ཡོད་དེ།
རྣམ་བྱང་གི་ཆོས་ལ་དམིགས་པ་ལ་དབང་བྱེད་པའི་ཕྱིར།
