Applications of a Knower of Bases in the continuum of a Bodhisattva

དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་འབྱུང་བ་སོགས་གཞི་ཤེས་ཀྱི་རྣམ་པ་གང་རུང་ལ་དམིགས་པའི་ཐེག་དམན་གྱི་རྟོགས་རིགས་སུ་གནས་པའི་སེམས་དཔའི་རྣལ་འབྱོར།
སེམས་དཔའི་རྒྱུད་ཀྱི་གཞི་ཤེས་སྦྱོར་བའི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition: A Bodhisattva's yoga abiding in the Hinayana class of realisations and observing any aspect of a Knower of Bases, such as the arising of the Tathagatas and so forth.

These four are characterised by the sixteen Knower-characteristics of applications of a Knower of Bases.

Divisions: (4)

1. Bodhisattva yoga separated from manifest afflictions (attachment and so forth)
   ཆགས་སོགས་ཉོན་མོངས་མངོན་གྱུར་པས་དབེན་པའི་སེམས་དཔའི་རྣལ་འབྱོར།
2. Bodhisattva yoga separated from the marks (i.e. the results) of those (attachment and so forth), i.e. negative states of the three doors
   ཆགས་སོགས་དེའི་རྟགས་ཏེ་འབྲས་བུ་སྒོ་གསུམ་གྱི་གནས་ངན་ལེན་གྱིས་དབེན་པའི་སེམས་དཔའི་རྣལ་འབྱོར།
3. Bodhisattva yoga separated from the signs (i.e. the causes) of those (attachment and so forth), i.e. incorrect mental attention to things which is grasping to the person as happy and so forth ཆགས་སོགས་དེའི་མཚན་མ་སྟེ་རྒྱུ་དངོས་པོའི་གནས་ཚུལ་ཇི་ལྟ་བ་བཞིན་མ་ཡིན་པར་ཡིད་ལ་བྱེད་པ་གང་ཟག་བདེ་བར་འཛིན་པ་སོགས་ཀྱིས་ས་དབེན་པའི་སེམས་དཔའི་རྣལ་འབྱོར།
4. Bodhisattva yoga separated from adherence wrt to the discordant and antidote classes, i.e. attachment and non-attachment and so forth
   འདོད་ཆགས་དང་འདོད་ཆགས་མེད་པ་སོགས་མི་མཐུན་ཕྱོགས་དང་གཉེན་པོ་དག་ལ་མངོན་པར་ཞེན་པས་དབེན་པའི་སེམས་དཔའི་རྣལ་འབྱོར།
