Conceptions of apprehendeds (Seeing)

Divisions:

1. Conceptions of apprehendeds to be engaged in མཐོང་སྤང་ཤེས་སྒྲིབ་འཇུག་པ་གཟུང་རྟོག
2. Conceptions of apprehendeds to be discarded མཐོང་སྤང་ཤེས་སྒྲིབ་ལྡོག་པ་གཟུང་རྟོག

Objects of observation:

1. Observing the signs of the objects of engagement of the Bodhisattva path
   བྱང་སེམས་ལམ་གྱི་འཇུག་ཡུལ་མཚན་མར་དམིགས་པ།
2. Observing the signs of the objects to be discarded of that
   དེའི་ལྡོག་ཡུལ་མཚན་མར་དམིགས་པ།

Aspects:

1. Adherence to those as apprehendeds to be adopted by way of wishing to adopt the dharma of Bodhisattvas and Buddhas བྱང་སེམས་དང་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཆོས་ལེན་པར་འདོད་པའི་སྒོ་ནས་བླང་བྱའི་གཟུང་བའོ་སྙམ་དུ་ཞེན་པ།
2. Adherence to those as apprehendeds to be discarded by way of wishing to discard the dharma of Hearers and Solitary Realisers ཉན་ཐོས་དང་རང་རྒྱལ་གྱི་ཆོས་འདོར་བར་འདོད་པའི་སྒོ་ནས་དོར་བྱའི་གཟུང་བའོ་སྙམ་དུ་ཞེན་པ།

དེ་གཉིས་ནི་མཐོང་ལམ་རྩེ་སྦྱོར་གྱི་མི་མཐུན་ཕྱོགས་ཡིན་ཏེ། དེའི་སྤང་བྱ་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར། དཔེར་ན་མཐོང་སྤང་ཉོན་མོངས་དང་འདྲ་བའི་ཕྱིར་རོ།
They are the discordant class of the Peak Application of the path of seeing because of being its objects of abandonment; for example, just like the afflictions that are objects of abandonment of the path of seeing.

Divisions: 9 each

བཅོ་བརྒྱད་པོ་དེ་དག་ནི་ཡུལ་ཇི་ལྟ་བ་བཞིན་མ་ཡིན་པར་འཛིན་པའི་ངོ་བོ་དག་ཏུ་ཤེས་པར་བྱ་སྟེ། རང་ཡུལ་ཕྱིན་ཅི་ལོག་ཏུ་སྣང་བའི་ཕྱིར་ཏེ།
དྷ་དུ་ར་ཟོས་པའི་རྒྱུ་མཚན་གྱིས་ནམ་མཁའ་ལ་གསེར་གྱིས་གང་བ་ཁས་ལེན་པ་ལ་འཇུག་པ་ལྟར་ཞེན་ཡུལ་གྱི་གཞིའི་དངོས་པོ་དང་མ་འབྲེལ་བར་འཇུག་པ་སྟེ།
ཞེན་པ་ལྟར་ཡུལ་མི་གནས་པའི་རིག་པ་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
These eighteen should be known to be in the nature of apprehending their objects not as they are because their objects appear erroneously; because just as one engages in asserted the sky to be filled with gold due to eating dhadura, they engage unconnected with the functioning thing that is the basis for their conceived object; i.e. being a knower whose object does not abide in accordance with how it is conceived.
