Conceptions of apprehendeds to be engaged in (Seeing)

རང་གི་དམིགས་ཡུལ་དུ་གྱུར་པའི་བྱང་སེམས་ལམ་གྱི་འཇུག་བྱ་ལ་དམིགས་ནས་ལོངས་སྤྱད་བྱར་བདེན་པར་འཛིན་པའི་བདེན་འཛིན་ཀུན་བརྟགས།
མཐོང་སྤང་ཤེས་སྒྲིབ་འཇུག་པ་གཟུང་རྟོག་གི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition: An acquired true-grasping that observes the objects to be engaged in on the Bodhisattva path (that are its objects of observation) and apprehends those as truly existent objects of utilisation.

Divisions by way of object: (9) ཡུལ་གྱི་སྒོ་ནས་དབྱེ་ན།

1. General:
   1. Entitiness: that in dependence upon that cause, this result is attained, i.e. the result (unsurpassed enlightenment) devoid of the cause (the six perfections) is not ultimately realised
      དོན་དམ་པར་རྒྱུ་ཕར་ཕྱིན་དྲུག་གིས་དབེན་པའི་འབྲས་བུ་བླ་མེད་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཀྱི་དབེན་པ་མ་རྟོགས་པའི་དོན་རྒྱུ་དེ་ལ་བརྟེན་ནས་
      འབྲས་བུ་དེ་འཐོབ་པའི་ངོ་བོ་ཉིད།
2. Specific:
   1. Cause of the path:
      1. Definite in the Buddha-lineage: directly entering the three, Immovable Ground and so forth
         ས་མི་གཡོ་བ་སོགས་གསུམ་ལ་དངོས་སུ་འཇུག་པའི་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་རིགས་སུ་ངེས་པ།
   2. Entity of the path:
      1. (Actual:) Correct accomplishment of the path of seeing and so forth: realising all phenomena as empty of true existence and illusion-like
         ཆོས་ཐམས་ཅད་བདེན་སྟོང་སྒྱུ་མ་ལྟ་བུར་རྟོགས་པའི་མཐོང་ལམ་སོགས་ཡང་དག་པར་གྲུབ་པ།
      2. Unmistaken objects of observations of Mahayana consciousnesses: due to realising all phenomena as exclusively reflection-like
         ཆོས་ཐམས་ཅད་གཟུགས་བརྙན་ཙམ་དུ་ཟད་པར་རྟོགས་པས་ཐེག་ཆེན་གྱི་ཤེས་པའི་དམིགས་པ་མ་འཁྲུལ་བ།
      3. (Ability to eliminate objects of abandonment) Generating and eliminating the antidote and discordant classes: due to acting to adopt and discard by way of previously perceiving the qualities and faults
         ཡོན་ཏན་དང་སྐྱོན་མཐོང་བ་སྔོན་དུ་བཏང་བའི་སྒོ་ནས་བླང་བྱ་དང་དོར་བྱར་བྱེད་པ་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་གཉེན་པོ་དང་མི་མཐུན་ཕྱོགས་སྐྱེད་པ་དང་སེལ་བ།
   3. Result of the path:
      1. Own welfare:
         1. Realising its object as it is: due to separating from all stains obscuring knowledge wrt the three exalted knowers together with their objects
            མཁྱེན་གསུམ་ཡུལ་བཅས་ཤེས་པ་ལ་སྒྲིབ་པའི་དྲི་མ་ཐམས་ཅད་དང་བྲལ་བས་རང་གི་ཡུལ་ཇི་བཞིན་དུ་རྟོགས་པ།
      2. Others' welfare:
         1. (Ability:) Distancing from the levels of Hearers and so forth: due to their inferior cause and non-pristine results རྒྱུ་དམན་ཞིང་འབྲས་བུ་གྱ་ནོམ་པ་མ་ཡིན་པས་ཉན་ཐོས་སོགས་ཀྱི་ས་ཐག་སྲིང་བར་བྱེད་པ།
         2. Activities enacting the welfare of sentient beings: due to enacting their welfare through emanating in accordance with the disciples' attitudes
            གདུལ་བྱའི་བསམ་པ་དང་མཐུན་པར་སྤྲུལ་ནས་དོན་བྱེད་པས་སེམས་ཅན་གྱི་དོན་བྱེད་པའི་ལས།
         3. Result: Setting all disciples in Nirvana through the force of correct method and wisdom and skill in generating compassion ཡང་དག་པའི་ཐབས་ཤེས་དང་སྙིང་རྗེ་སྐྱེད་པ་ལ་མཁས་པའི་སྟོབས་ཀྱིས་
            གདུལ་བྱའི་སྐྱེ་བོ་ཐམས་ཅད་མྱང་འདས་ལ་འགོད་པར་བྱ་བའི་འབྲས་བུ།

དེ་དག་ལ་རྟོག་པའི་ཚུལ་ཡོད་དེ། དངོས་པོར་དམིགས་པ་དང་གཞན་དོན་མི་སྒྲུབ་པའི་སྐྱོན་མེད་པ་ཉིད་ཀྱིས། དེར་མཐོང་ནས་འདི་ནི་བདག་གི་བླང་བྱའི་གཟུང་བའོ།
ཞེས་བདེན་པར་ཞེན་པར་བྱེད་པ་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར་རོ།
Mode of conception: Due to being without the faults of the observation of things and of not accomplishing others' welfare, perceiving as such and adhering to those as truly existent thinking "These are my apprehendeds to be adopted!"

མཐོང་ལམ་གྱི་སྤང་བྱ་ཡིན་ཏེ། མཐོང་ལམ་གྱི་སྦྱོར་བ་སྟེ་ཐོབ་པ་ཡོངས་སུ་རྫོགས་པའི་གནས་སྐབས་ཀྱི་སྤང་བྱར་སངས་རྒྱས་བཞེད་པའི་ཕྱིར།
They are objects of abandonment of the path of seeing because the Buddha asserted those as the objects of abandonment on the occasion of thoroughly completing the yoga (i.e. attainment) of the path of seeing.
