Conceptions of apprehenders of imputed existents (Seeing)
རང་གི་དམིགས་ཡུལ་དུ་གྱུར་པའི་བཏགས་འཛིན་ལ་དམིགས་ནས་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་བྱེད་དུ་བདེན་པར་ཞེན་པའི་བདེན་འཛིན་ཀུན་བརྟགས།
མཐོང་སྤང་ཤེས་སྒྲིབ་བཏགས་འཛིན་རྟོག་པའི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition: An acquired true-grasping observing the apprehender of imputed existents that is its object and adhering to those as truly existent utilisers.
Divisions by way of objects:
- Non-attainment of the result in accordance with one's wishes འབྲས་བུ་འདོད་པ་བཞིན་དུ་མི་ཐོབ་པ།
- The being not definitely emerging in accordance with the objectives (the three greatnesses) due to the definite emergence of the enlightenment of Hearers and Solitary Realisers
ཉན་རང་གི་བྱང་ཆུབ་ངེས་པར་འབྱུང་བ་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་ཆེད་དུ་བྱ་བ་ཆེན་པོ་གསུམ་ཇི་ལྟ་བ་བཞིན་དུ་ངེས་པར་མི་འབྱུང་བའི་སྐྱེས་བུ།
- The being not definitely emerging in accordance with the objectives (the three greatnesses) due to the definite emergence of the enlightenment of Hearers and Solitary Realisers
- Erroneous adherence ཕྱིན་ཅི་ལོག་ཏུ་ཞེན་པ།
- Wrt the path
- Definite apprehender of other paths as incorrect paths for the Mahayana through perceiving the Mahayana path as lacking the path that is the method for just the pacification desired by Hearers and Solitary Realisers ཐེག་ཆེན་གྱི་ལམ་ལ་ཉན་རང་གི་མངོན་པར་འདོད་པའི་ཉེར་ཞིའི་ཐབས་ཙམ་གྱི་ལམ་མེད་པར་མཐོང་ནས་ལམ་གཞན་ཐེག་ཆེན་ལ་ལམ་ཡང་དག་མ་ཡིན་པར་ངེས་པར་འཛིན་པ་པོ།
- Wrt objects of knowledge (resp: དགག་སྒྲུབ། ཆོས་ལྡན་མི་ལྡན། གནས་ལུགས་ཀྱི་དོན།)
- Conceiver taking the causes (arising) and results (cessation) as definite discrimination of mere imputation conventionally རྒྱུ་སྐྱེ་བ་དང་འབྲས་བུ་འགག་པ་ཀུན་རྫོབ་བཏགས་པ་ཙམ་གྱི་ངེས་འབྱེད་བྱེད་པར་རྟོག་པ་པོ།
- Knower of divisions, preceded by knowing as indivisible:
- Uninterrupted appearance, i.e. due to conceiving as ultimately indivisible, all things (forms etc.) as possessing
- The other appearance, i.e. due to conceiving as conventionally divisible, all things
(forms etc.) as not possessing
བར་ཆད་མེད་པར་སྣང་བ་སྟེ་དོན་དམ་དུ་དབྱེ་བ་མེད་པར་རྟོག་པས་གཟུགས་ཀྱི་དངོས་པོ་མཐའ་དག་ལ་ལྡན་པ་སྟེ།
དབྱེ་བ་མེད་པར་ཤེས་པ་དང་། བར་ཆད་མེད་པ་དོན་དམ་དེའི་ཅིག་ཤོས་སུ་སྣང་བ་སྟེ་ཀུན་རྫོབ་ཏུ་དབྱེ་བ་ཡོད་པར་རྟོག་པས་
གཟུགས་སོགས་ཀྱི་དངོས་པོ་མཐའ་དག་ལ་མི་ལྡན་པ་སྟེ་དབྱེ་བ་མེད་པར་ཤེས་པ་སྔོན་དུ་འགྲོ་བས་དབྱེ་བ་ཡོད་པར་ཤེས་པ་པོ།
- Non-adhering abider wrt all phenomena (forms etc.) due to being similar to a bird abiding the sky without a support
ནམ་མཁའ་ལ་གནས་པའི་བྱ་རྟེན་མེད་པར་གནས་པ་དང་འདྲ་བ་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་གཟུགས་སོགས་ཀྱི་ཆོས་རྣམས་ལ་མ་ཞེན་པར་གནས་པ་པོ།
- Wrt the path
- Contradiction with the correct path ཡང་དག་པའི་ལམ་དང་འགལ་བ།
- Degeneration of inferior lineage དམན་པའི་རིགས་ཉམས་པ།
- Eliminator and destroyer of the awareness striving for mere pacification of those of the Hearer lineage and so forth by way of upholding generation of the mind of unsurpassed enlightenment and the instructions བླ་མེད་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཀྱི་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་ཅིང་གདམས་ངག་བཟུང་བའི་སྒོ་ནས་ཉན་ཐོས་ལ་སོགས་པའི་རིགས་ཏེ་
ཞི་བ་ཙམ་དོན་གཉེར་གྱི་བློ་འཇིག་ཅིང་ལྡོག་པ་པོ།
- Eliminator and destroyer of the awareness striving for mere pacification of those of the Hearer lineage and so forth by way of upholding generation of the mind of unsurpassed enlightenment and the instructions བླ་མེད་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཀྱི་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་ཅིང་གདམས་ངག་བཟུང་བའི་སྒོ་ནས་ཉན་ཐོས་ལ་སོགས་པའི་རིགས་ཏེ་
- Incomplete concordant conditions མཐུན་རྐྱེན་མ་ཚང་བ།
- Conceiver not wishing and striving for Buddhahood due to not awakening to any other dharma superior to suchness དེ་ཁོ་ནར་དེ་བཞིན་ཉིད་དང་དེ་ལས་ཁྱད་པར་དུ་འཕགས་པ་སྟེ་གཞན་པའི་ཆོས་གང་ཡང་འཚང་རྒྱ་བ་མེད་པས།
སངས་རྒྱས་འདོད་ཅིང་དོན་དུ་གཉེར་བ་མེད་པར་རྟོག་པ་པོ། - Conceiver of teaching dharma and so forth as causeless in the nature of ultimate truth
དོན་དམ་པའི་བདེན་པ་ལ་བརྟེན་ནས་ཏེ། དེའི་ངོ་བོར་ཆོས་སྟོན་པ་སོགས་ཀྱི་རྒྱུ་མེད་པར་རྟོག་པ་པོ།
- Conceiver not wishing and striving for Buddhahood due to not awakening to any other dharma superior to suchness དེ་ཁོ་ནར་དེ་བཞིན་ཉིད་དང་དེ་ལས་ཁྱད་པར་དུ་འཕགས་པ་སྟེ་གཞན་པའི་ཆོས་གང་ཡང་འཚང་རྒྱ་བ་མེད་པས།
- Conjoined with discordant conditions འགལ་རྐྱེན་གྱིས་ཟིན་པ།
- Observation (i.e. existence) of things opposed by the four maras and two levels through the nature/force of strong familiarity with the discordant class of the six perfections, miserliness and so forth སེར་སྣ་སོགས་ཕྱིན་དྲུག་གི་མི་མཐུན་ཕྱོགས་ཤིན་ཏུ་གོམས་པར་བྱས་པའི་ཆོས་ཉིད་དམ་སྟོབས་ཀྱིས་བདུད་བཞི་དང་
ས་གཉིས་ཀྱིས་ཕྱིར་རྒོལ་བའི་དངོས་པོ་དམིགས་པ་སྟེ་ཡོད་པ།
- Observation (i.e. existence) of things opposed by the four maras and two levels through the nature/force of strong familiarity with the discordant class of the six perfections, miserliness and so forth སེར་སྣ་སོགས་ཕྱིན་དྲུག་གི་མི་མཐུན་ཕྱོགས་ཤིན་ཏུ་གོམས་པར་བྱས་པའི་ཆོས་ཉིད་དམ་སྟོབས་ཀྱིས་བདུད་བཞི་དང་
- Degeneration of inferior lineage དམན་པའི་རིགས་ཉམས་པ།
རྟོག་པ་དེ་དག་གིས་ཡུལ་དགུ་པོ་དེ་ལ་རྟོག་ཚུལ་ཡོད་དེ། མི་མཐུན་པ་དང་གཉེན་པོའི་ཆོས་དེ་རྣམས་དང་ལྡན་པའི་ཤེས་རྒྱུད་ལ་
འདི་ནི་བཏགས་པར་འདོད་པའི་ས་དག་ཏུ་བདེན་ནོ་སྙམ་དུ་བཏགས་པའི་དངོས་པོར་མངོན་པར་ཞེན་ནས་འཛིན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
Mode of conception: Apprehension through conceiving mental continua possessing those discordant and antidote dharmas as imputed things, thinking "These are truly the pure level of wishing to impute."
འདི་དག་ཀྱང་མདོ་ལས། གཉེན་པོ་དངོས་སུ་བསྟན་པའི་ཤུགས་ལ་འཕངས་པ་བསྟན་བཅོས་སུ་བཀོད་པའོ།
Also regarding these, what the antidotes being explicitly indicated in the sutra, what is implicit is set forth by the Treatise.
མཐོང་སྤང་ཡིན་ཏེ། མཐོང་ལམ་རྩེ་སྦྱོར་གྱི་སེམས་དང་སེམས་ལས་བྱུང་བ་འཇུག་པ་སྟེ། དངོས་པོའི་གནས་སྐབས་ཀྱི་སྤང་བར་བྱ་བ་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར་རོ།
They are objects of abandonment of the path of seeing because of engaging in the minds and mental factors of the Peak Application of the path of seeing, i.e. that which is to be abandoned on the occasion of things.
