Conceptions of apprehenders of substantial existents (Meditation)

Divisions by way of object: ཡུལ་གྱི་སྒོ་ནས་དགུ་ཡོད་དེ།

1. Conception designating as sentient beings སེམས་ཅན་དུ་བཏགས་པའི་རྣམ་པར་རྟོག་པ།
2. Conception designating as phenomena ཆོས་སུ་བཏགས་པའི་རྣམ་པར་རྟོག་པ།
3. Conception of non-emptiness སྟོང་པ་ཉིད་མ་ཡིན་པའི་རྣམ་པར་རྟོག་པ།
4. Conception of attachment to all phenomena ཆོས་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་ཆགས་པའི་རྣམ་པར་རྟོག་པ།
5. Conception thoroughly differentiating phenomena ཆོས་རབ་ཏུ་རྣམ་པར་འབྱེད་པའི་རྣམ་པར་རྟོག་པ།
6. Conception of accomplishing the objective of things དངོས་པོའི་ཆེད་དུ་བྱ་བ་སྒྲུབ་པར་བྱེད་པའི་རྣམ་པར་རྟོག་པ།
7. Conception of definitely emerging by means of the three vehicles ཐེག་པ་གསུམ་གྱིས་ངེས་པར་འབྱུང་བའི་རྣམ་པར་རྟོག་པ།
8. Conception of not thoroughly pure qualities ཡོན་ཡོངས་སུ་མ་དག་པ་ལ་རྣམ་པར་རྟོག་པ།
9. Conception of disturbing activities སྤྱོད་པ་རྣམ་པར་འཁྲུགས་པ་ལ་རྣམ་པར་རྟོག་པ།

རྟོག་པ་དེ་དག་གིས་ཡུལ་དགུ་པོ་དེ་ལ་རྟོག་ཚུལ་ཡོད་དེ། ཡུལ་དགུ་པོ་དེ་དག་དང་ལྡན་པའི་ཆོས་ལ་རྫས་ཡོད་ཀྱིས་འཛིན་པ་པོའི་བདག་གོ་སྙམ་དུ་ཞེན་ནས་འཛིན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
Mode of conception: Adhering to these nine objects, thinking "I am a substantially existent apprehender"

རྟོག་པ་དེ་རྣམས་ཆོས་ཅན། སྒོམ་ལམ་རྩེ་སྦྱོར་གྱི་སྤང་བྱ་ཡིན་ཏེ།
སྒོམ་ལམ་རྩེ་སྦྱོར་ཐོབ་ལ་ཡོངས་སུ་མ་རྫོགས་པའི་སྦྱོར་བ་ཉེར་བསྡོགས་ཀྱི་གནས་སྐབས་སུ་སྤང་བར་བྱ་བ་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
The subject - these conceptions - they are objects of abandonment of the Peak Application of the path of meditation because they are that to be abandoned on the occasion of the preparatory application, i.e. having attained but not completed the Peak Application of the path of meditation.

སེམས་ཅན་གྱི་ཕུང་པོ་ལ་བཏགས་པའི་འཛིན་པ་ལ་དམིགས་ནས་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་བྱེད་དུ་བདེན་པར་ཞེན་པའི་བདེན་འཛིན་ལྷན་སྐྱེས་ཆོས་ཅན།
སྒོམ་ལམ་རྩེ་སྦྱོར་གྱི་སྤང་བྱ་ཡིན་ཏེ། དེའི་གཞོམ་བྱ་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར། དེས་ལྷག་མ་བརྒྱད་ལ་རིགས་འགྲེ།
The subject - the innate conception observing the apprehenders designating sentient beings' aggregates and adhering to those as truly existent utilisers - it is an object of abandonment of the Peak Application of the path of meditation because it is that eliminated by that.
