Conventional Truth
རང་མངོན་སུམ་དུ་རྟོགས་པའི་མངོན་སུམ་གྱི་ཚད་མས་གཉིས་སྣང་དང་བཅས་པའི་སྒོ་ནས་རྟོགས་པར་བྱ་བ། ཀུན་རྫོབ་བདེན་པའི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition: That realised by the direct valid cogniser directly realising it by way of possessing dualistic appearances.
Terminological division:
- Real conventionality ཡང་དག་ཀུན་རྫོབ།
- False conventionality ལོག་པའི་ཀུན་རྫོབ།
ཀུན་རྫོབ་བདེན་པ་གང་ཞིག རང་སྣང་ཡུལ་དུ་བྱེད་པའི་བློ་ལ་སྣང་བ་ལྟར་མ་གྲུབ་པར་འཇིག་རྟེན་རང་ག་བས་རྟོགས་མི་ནུས་པ། ཡང་དག་ཀུན་རྫོབ་ཀྱི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition of real conventionality: That 1) which is a conventional truth and 2) which ordinary worldly beings cannot realise as not existing in accordance with its appearance to the awareness whose appearing object it is.

ཡང་དག་ཀུན་རྫོབ་དང་ལོག་པའི་ཀུན་རྫོབ་གང་རུང་གང་ཞིག
དེ་ལྟར་མ་གྲུབ་པར་འཇིག་རྟེན་རང་ག་བས་རྟོགས་ནུས་པ་དང་རང་ཉིད་ཐ་སྙད་དུ་ཡོད་པ་ལ་ཚད་མས་གནོད་པ་འབབ་པ་གང་རུང་། ལོག་པའི་ཀུན་རྫོབ་ཀྱི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition of false conventionality: That which is 1) either a correct conventionality or a wrong conventionality and 2) either i) [something] ordinary worldly beings can realise as not existing as such or ii) [something] whose conventional existence can be refuted by valid cognition.
Illustrations: the reflection of a face in the mirror, the self of persons, etc.
