Exalted wisdom Dharmakaya
ཇི་ལྟ་བ་དང་ཇི་སྙེད་པ་ལ་ལྟོས་ནས་གཟིགས་པ་མཐར་ཐུག་པའི་ཡེ་ཤེས་དེ། ཡེ་ཤེས་ཆོས་སྐུའི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition: A final exalted wisdom that perceives the modes and varieties.
དེ་དང་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་སའི་ཤེས་པ་དོན་གཅིག
This and a consciousness of the Buddha-ground are mutually inclusive.
སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་སའི་ཟག་མེད་ཀྱི་ཡེ་ཤེས་སྡེ་ཚན་ཉེར་གཅིག་ཡོད།
Divisions: (21) Twenty-one sets of the Buddha's uncontaminated exalted wisdoms: (Individual total: 146)
- Thirty-seven harmonies with enlightenment སྔར་བཤད་པའི་བྱང་ཕྱོགས་སོ་བདུན།
- Four Immeasurables ཚད་མེད་བཞི།
- Eight liberations རྣམ་པར་ཐར་པ་བརྒྱད།
- Nine serial absorptions མཐར་གནས་སྙོམས་འཇུག་དགུ།
- Ten totalities ཟད་པར་གྱི་སྐྱེ་མཆེད་བཅུ།
- Eight eclipsings ཟིལ་གནོན་བརྒྱད།
- Concentration of non-affliction ཉོན་མོངས་མེད་པའི་ཏིང་ངེ་འཛིན།
- Concentration of knowing aspirations སྨོན་གནས་མཁྱེན་པའི་ཏིང་ངེ་འཛིན།
Explaining these two individually (from among the 146) is in order to also illustrate the others because all are distinguished by having abandoned the two obscurations together with their imprints.
ཡེ་ཤེས་བརྒྱ་ཞེ་དྲུག་ལས་འདི་གཉིས་ལ་ཁྱད་པར་འཆད་པ་ནི་གཞན་རྣམས་ལ་ཡང་མཚོན་པའི་ཆེད་ཡིན་ཏེ།
དེ་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱང་སྒྲིབ་གཉིས་བག་ཆགས་དང་བཅས་པ་སྤངས་པས་རབ་ཏུ་ཕྱེ་བ་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར། - Six Clairvoyances མངོན་ཤེས་དྲུག
- Four individual correct knowledges སོ་སོ་ཡང་དག་པར་རིག་པ་བཞི།
- Four complete purities (body, object, exalted mind, exalted wisdom)
ལུས་དག་པ་དམིགས་པ་དག་པ་ཐུགས་དག་པ་ཡེ་ཤེས་ཡོངས་སུ་དག་པ་སྟེ་ཡོངས་སུ་དག་པ་བཞི། - Ten masteries (over: time, minds, necessities, results, birth, inclinations, aspirations, magical emanations, exalted wisdom, dharma) ཚེ། སེམས། ཡོ་བྱད། འབྲས་བུ། སྐྱེ་བ། མོས་པ། སྨོན་ལམ། རྫུ་འཕྲུལ། ཡེ་ཤེས། ཆོས་ལ་དབང་བ་སྟེ་དབང་བཅུ་དང་།
- Ten strengths སྔར་བཤད་པའི་སྟོབས་བཅུ་དང་།
- Four fearlessnesses མི་འཇིགས་པ་བཞི་དང་།
- Three non-guardings (due to completely pure body, speech and mind)
སྐུ་གསུང་ཐུགས་ཡོངས་སུ་དག་པས་བསྲུང་བ་མེད་པ་གསུམ་དང་། - Three close placements of mindfulness (through devotion to teachings dharma, being devoid of attachment to those who listen, aversion to those who do not, and both to those who both)
ཆོས་བསྟན་པ་ལ་གུས་པས་ཉན་པ་ལ་ཆགས་པ་དང་། མི་ཉན་པ་ལ་ཁོང་ཁྲོ་བ་དང་།
གཉིས་ཀ་འདྲེས་མ་ལ་ཆགས་སྡང་གཉིས་ཀས་དབེན་པའི་དྲན་པ་ཉེ་བར་བཞག་པ་གསུམ་དང་། - Everlasting and continuous non-forgetfulness wrt sentient beings' welfare
སེམས་ཅན་གྱི་དོན་རྟག་ཏུ་རྒྱུན་མི་འཆད་པའི་བསྙེལ་བ་མི་མངའ་བ་དང་། - Abandonment of the seeds of the two obscurations (the imprints of the three doors)
སྒོ་གསུམ་གྱི་བག་ཆགས་ཏེ་སྒྲིབ་གཉིས་ཀྱི་ས་བོན་སྤངས་པ་དང་། - Great compassion accomplishing the benefit and happiness of disciples
གདུལ་བྱའི་ཕན་བདེ་སྒྲུབ་པའི་སྙིང་རྗེ་ཆེན་པོ་དང་། - Eighteen unmixed qualities of Buddhas སྔར་བཞིན་མ་འདྲེས་པ་བཅོ་བརྒྱད་དང་།
- The three exalted knowers:
- Exalted knower of all aspects directly realising the ten topics of main causes and effects
རྒྱུ་འབྲས་གཙོ་བོའི་ཆོས་བཅུ་མངོན་སུམ་དུ་རྟོགས་པའི་རྣམ་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་མཁྱེན་པ་ཉིད་དང་། - Knower of paths སྒྲས་བསྡུས་པ་ལམ་ཤེས་པ་ཉིད་དང་།
- Knower of bases ཐམས་ཅད་ཤེས་པ་ཉིད་རྣམས་སུ་ཡོད་པའི་ཕྱིར་རོ།
- Exalted knower of all aspects directly realising the ten topics of main causes and effects
ཡེ་ཤེས་ཆོས་སྐུ་ཡིན་ན་རྣལ་འབྱོར་མངོན་སུམ་དང་། ཡིད་ཤེས་ཡིན་པས་ཁྱབ་པ་མེད་དེ། སངས་རྒྱས་འཕགས་པའི་མིག་ཤེས་དེ་ཡེ་ཤེས་ཆོས་སྐུ་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
If it is the exalted wisdom Dharmakaya, there is no pervasion of it being a yogic direct perceiver or a mental consciousness because an Arya Buddha's eye consciousness is an exalted wisdom Dharmakaya.
དེ་ཡིན་ན་གཞན་རིག་གི་ཤེས་པ་ཡིན་པས་ཀྱང་མ་ཁྱབ་སྟེ། སངས་རྒྱས་འཕགས་པའི་རྒྱུད་ཀྱི་རང་རིག་དེ་ཡེ་ཤེས་ཆོས་སྐུ་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
If it is that, it is also not pervaded by being a consciousness that is an other-knower, because the self-knowers in the continuum of an Arya Buddha are exalted wisdom Dharmakaya.
སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་སའི་ཟག་མེད་ཀྱི་ཡེ་ཤེས་སྡེ་ཚན་ཉེར་གཅིག་པོ་ཆོས་ཅན། ཡེ་ཤེས་ཆོས་སྐུ་ཡིན་ཏེ།
ཇི་ལྟ་བ་དང་ཇི་སྙེད་པ་ལ་ལྟོས་ནས་གཟིགས་པ་མཐར་ཐུག་པའི་ཡེ་ཤེས་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
The subject - the twenty-one sets of the Buddha's uncontaminated exalted wisdoms - they are exalted wisdom Dharmakaya because of being final exalted wisdoms perceiving the modes and varieties.
དེ་ཆོས་ཅན། ཁྱོད་བྱེད་ལས་ཁྱད་པར་ཅན་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཡིན་ཏེ།
རང་འབྲས་གཟུགས་སྐུ་གཉིས་ཀྱི་སྣང་བ་བསྐྱེད་པའི་སྒོ་ནས་འོད་ཟེར་འགྱེད་པ་དང་ཆོས་སྟོན་པའི་བྱ་བ་བྱེད་པའི་ཕྱིར།
That subject, it possesses a special function because it functions to emanate light and teach dharma by way of generating the illumination of its resultant two Form Bodies.
དེ་ཆོས་ཅན། སྤངས་པའི་ཁྱད་པར་དང་ལྡན་ཏེ། ཟག་མེད་དུ་གནས་གྱུར་པ་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
That subject, it possesses the feature of abandonment because it is that which has become uncontaminated.
དེ་ཆོས་ཅན། ངོ་བོའི་ཁྱད་པར་དང་ལྡན་ཏེ། སེམས་དང་སེམས་ལས་བྱུང་བའི་ཁྱད་པར་དང་ལྡན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
That subject, it possesses the feature of entity because of possessing the features mind and mental factors.
སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་སའི་ཟག་མེད་ཡེ་ཤེས་སྡེ་ཚན་ཉེར་གཅིག་ཆོས་ཅན། ཁྱད་པར་གསུམ་དང་ལྡན་ཏེ།
The subject - the twenty-one sets of uncontaminated exalted wisdom of the Buddha-ground - they possess three distinguishing features:
- Entity: minds and mental factors ངོ་བོའི་ཁྱད་པར་སེམས་དང་སེམས་ལས་བྱུང་བ།
- Abandonment: having become uncontaminated སྤངས་པའི་ཁྱད་པར་ཟག་མེད་དུ་གནས་གྱུར་པ།
- Function: the special welfare of the conventional yogi (i.e. in subsequent attainment); i.e. illumination with light through teaching the Dharma to disciples by way of generating appearances as the two Form Bodies བྱེད་ལས་ཀྱི་ཁྱད་པར་རྣལ་འབྱོར་པའི་ཀུན་རྫོབ་སྟེ་རྗེས་ཐོབ་ཏུ་དོན་ཁྱད་པར་ཅན་གཟུགས་སྐུ་གཉིས་སུ་སྣང་བ་བསྐྱེད་པའི་སྒོ་ནས་
གདུལ་བྱ་ལ་ཆོས་སྟོན་པ་ལ་སོགས་པས་འོད་འབྱེད་པའི་དོན་གྱི་བྱ་བ་མཛད་པའི་ཕྱིར།
