Four abandoning and not abandoning the deity

བློ་མ་བྱང་བ་དང༌། རྟོག་པ་མངོན་པའི་ང་རྒྱལ་ཅན་དང༌། བློ་བྱང་བ་རྣམ་པར་མ་ངེས་པ་དང༌།
ཤེས་པ་ཅན་ཞིང་ཀུན་ཏུ་རྨོངས་པ་བཞི་ལས་མངོན་པར་མཐོ་བའི་ལམ་དགེ་བ་དང་མི་དགེ་བ་དང༌། ངེས་ལེགས་ཀྱི་ལམ་བདེན་པ་བཞི་ལས་བརྩམས་ཏེ་དྲི་བ་དྲིས་པ་ན་
དྲི་བ་རྣམས་ལ་ལན་གསལ་པོ་མི་འདེབས་པར་གཏམ་རླུང་ལ་སྐུར་ཞིང་བདག་གིས་ལྷ་མི་སྤོང་བ་ཡིན་ནོ་སྙམ་དུ་ལྟ་བའོ།

When asking questions to the four - with untrained mind, conceptually arrogant, trained mind but uncertain, and knowledgeable but obscured - regarding the path of higher states (virtue and non-virtue) and the path of definite goodness (the four truths), they respond with unclear answers, beating around the bush, saying "'Not abandoning the deity."
