Great capacity being

སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་འཁོར་བའི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་མཐའ་དག་ལས་བསྒྲལ་བའི་ཕྱིར་དུ་བརྩོན་བཞིན་པའི་གང་ཟག་དེ་སྐྱེས་བུ་ཆེན་པོ་ཡིན།
Entity: A person striving to liberate all sentient beings from all the sufferings of samsara.

སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱི་དོན་དུ་རྣམ་མཁྱེན་སྒྲུབ་པར་བྱེད་པའི་བསམ་པ།
Attitude: To accomplish the Exalted Knower of All Aspects for the welfare of all sentient beings.

བསམ་པ་དེ་སྐྱེས་པའི་ཚད་ཡོད་དེ།
སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་འཁོར་བའི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་མཐའ་དག་དང་འབྲལ་བར་འདོད་པའི་བསམ་པ་ལ་མྱོང་བ་ཐོན་པ་ན་བློ་དེ་སྐྱེས་པར་འཇོག་པའི་ཕྱིར།
Measure of giving rise to that attitude: When an experience is elicited regarding the attitude wishing to be free all sentient beings from the sufferings of samsara as a whole.

བསམ་པ་དེ་སྐྱེས་པའི་ཐབས་ཡོད་དེ།
སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་དྲི་མ་ཅན་ཤ་སྟག་ཏུ་མཐོང་བའི་སྒོ་ནས་དེ་རྣམས་འཁོར་བའི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་གྱིས་མནར་ཚུལ་བསམ་པ་ལ་བརྟེན་ནས་བློ་དེ་སྐྱེ་བའི་ཕྱིར།
Method for giving rise to that attitude: Arises in dependence upon thinking about the way sentient beings are tormented by the sufferings of samsara, by way of perceiving them as exclusively tainted.
