ཐེག་ཆེན་གྱི་ངེས་འབྱེད་ཆ་མཐུན་དང་པོ་གང་ཞིག ཤེས་སྒྲིབ་ཀུན་ནས་ཉོན་མོངས་གཟུང་རྟོག་མངོན་གྱུར་པ་འཇོམས་པའི་ནུས་པ་ཐོབ་པའི་ལམ་གྱི་རིགས་སུ་གནས་པས་རབ་ཏུ་ཕྱེ་བ། ཐེག་ཆེན་གྱི་སྦྱོར་ལམ་དྲོད་ཀྱི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition: That which is 1) the first Mahayana partial concordance with definite discrimination and 2) distinguished by abiding in the class of path that has attained the ability to overcome the manifest knowledge obscurations that are the conceptions of thoroughly afflicted apprehendeds.

Divisions: Small, middling, great.

Etymology: “Heat” due to being a foreshadowing of the arising of the fire of non-conceptual exalted wisdom རྣམ་པར་མི་རྟོག་པའི་ཡེ་ཤེས་ཀྱི་མེ་སྐྱེ་བའི་སྔ་ལྟས་ཡིན་པས་དྲོད།
