Joyous effort
དགེ་བ་ལ་སྤྲོ་བའི་སེམས་པ། བརྩོན་འགྲུས་ཀྱི་ངོ་བོ།

- Joyous effort enacting the welfare of sentient beings སེམས་ཅན་དོན་བྱེད་ཀྱི་བརྩོན་འགྲུས།
- Joyous effort of non-discouragement མ་ཞུམ་པའི་བརྩོན་འགྲུས།
- And so forth སོགས་དུ་མ་ཡོད།
The subject - the joyous effort in the continuum of an Arya Bodhisattva - it possesses three distinguishing features: བྱང་སེམས་འཕགས་པའི་རྒྱུད་ཀྱི་བརྩོན་འགྲུས་ཆོས་ཅན། ཁྱད་ཆོས་གསུམ་དང་ལྡན་ཏེ།
- Eliminating laziness (its discordant class) རང་གི་མི་མཐུན་ཕྱོགས་ལེ་ལོ་འཇོམས།
- Conjoined with the exalted wisdom of not conceiving a self of phenomena (its assistant)
གྲོགས་རྣམ་པར་མི་རྟོག་པའི་ཡེ་ཤེས་ཀྱིས་ཟིན་པ། - Ripening sentient beings by way of increasing virtuous dharma and assisting with the activities of sentient beings བྱེད་ལས་དགེ་བའི་ཆོས་གོང་འཕེལ་དུ་བྱེད་ཅིང།
སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ལས་སུ་བྱ་བའི་གྲོགས་བྱེད་པའི་སྒོ་ནས་སེམས་ཅན་སྨིན་པར་བྱེད་པའི་ཁྱད་ཆོས་དང་ལྡན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
