Mara of the lord of death

བདུད་བཞིའི་ནང་ཚན་གང་ཞིག སྲོག་གི་དབང་པོ་རང་དབང་མེད་པར་འགག་པར་བྱེད་པའི་ཆའི་རིགས་སུ་གནས་པ། འཆི་བདག་གི་བདུད་ཀྱི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition of the mara of the lord of death: That which is:

1. A subdivision of the four maras; and
2. Abiding in the class of factors that uncontrollably cease the life-faculty

Divisions: ཕྲ་རགས་གཉིས་ལས།

1. Subtle: inconceivable death and transference བསམ་གྱིས་མི་ཁྱབ་པའི་འཆི་འཕོ་ལྟ་བུ།
2. Coarse: the factor that uncontrollably ceases the life-faculty due to karma and afflictions
   ལས་ཉོན་གྱིས་སྲོག་གི་དབང་པོ་རང་དབང་མེད་པར་འགག་པར་བྱེད་པའི་ཆ་ལྟ་བུ།
