Nature Body (4-Bodies GM)

དག་པ་གཉིས་ལྡན་གྱི་དབྱིངས་མཐར་ཐུག་དེ། ངོ་བོ་ཉིད་སྐུའི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition: A final sphere possessing the two purities.

Divisions:

1. Nature Body that is the factor of natural purity རང་བཞིན་རྣམ་དག་གི་ཆར་གྱུར་པའི་ངོ་བོ་ཉིད་སྐུ།
   e.g. the dharmata in the continuum of an Arya Buddha སངས་རྒྱས་འཕགས་པའི་རྒྱུད་ཀྱི་ཆོས་ཉིད་ལྟ་བུ།
2. Nature Body that is the factor of adventitious purity གློ་བུར་རྣམ་དག་གི་ཆར་གྱུར་པའི་ངོ་བོ་ཉིད་སྐུ།
   e.g. true cessations in the continuum of an Arya Buddha སངས་རྒྱས་འཕགས་པའི་རྒྱུད་ཀྱི་འགོག་བདེན་ལྟ་བུ།

རྒྱུ་རྐྱེན་གྱིས་གསར་དུ་བཅོས་པ་མ་ཡིན་པའི་སྐྱབས་གནས་མཐར་ཐུག་པའི་སྐུ་ཡིན་པས་ན། ངོ་བོ་ཉིད་སྐུ་ཞེས་བྱ་སྟེ།
དཔེར་ན་འཇིག་རྟེན་ན་མ་བཅོས་པ་ལ་ངོ་བོ་ཉིད་ཅེས་བརྗོད་པ་བཞིན་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
Etymology: Due to being a Body that is a final source of refuge which is not newly fabricated by causes and conditions; just like in worldly conventions, that which is unfabricated is referred to as [something's] nature, for example.

ས་མཚམས་ནི། སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ས་ཁོ་ན་ན་ཡོད།
Boundaries: exists only on the Buddha-ground

ངོ་བོ་ཉིད་སྐུ་དེ་ཁྱད་ཆོས་དུ་མ་དང་ལྡན་ཏེ། དེ་མཚན་ཉིད་ལྔ་དང་ལྡན། ཡོན་ཏན་ལྔ་དང་ལྡན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
The Nature Body possesses many qualities because it possesses five characteristics and five qualities.

It possesses five characteristics: དེ་མཚན་ཉིད་ལྔ་དང་ལྡན་ཏེ།

1. Uncompounded: free from production, abiding, and disintegration དེ་སྐྱེ་གནས་འཇིག་གསུམ་དང་བྲལ་བའི་འདུས་མ་བྱས་པ།
2. Entity Indivisible from the qualities of the strengths and so forth སྟོབས་སོགས་ཀྱི་ཡོན་ཏན་དང་ངོ་བོ་དབྱེར་མེད་པ།
3. Abandoned the two extremes of superimposition and deprecation སྒྲོ་སྐུར་གྱི་མཐའ་གཉིས་སྤངས་པ།
4. Liberated from the three obscurations: afflictive, knowledge, and to meditative absorption
   ཉོན་མོངས་ཤེས་བྱ་སྙོམས་འཇུག་གི་སྒྲིབ་པ་གསུམ་ལས་ངེས་པར་གྲོལ་བ།
5. Qualities of natural clear light རང་བཞིན་གྱི་འོད་གསལ་བའི་ཡོན་ཏན་དང་ལྡན་པ།

རང་བཞིན་གྱི་དྲི་མ་མེད་ཀྱང་། སྒྲོ་འདོགས་རྟོག་པའི་ཡུལ་མ་ཡིན་པ་དང་། རྣལ་འབྱོར་པ་སངས་རྒྱས་འཕགས་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་མངོན་སུམ་གྱི་ཡུལ་ཡིན་པ་དང་།
རང་བཞིན་གྱི་དྲི་མ་རྣམ་པར་དག་པའི་ཆོས་དབྱིངས་ཀྱི་ངོ་བོ་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
It is free from natural stains and also not the object of conceptual superimpositions, it is the object of yogis', i.e. Arya Buddhas', direct perception, and the entity of dharmadhatu's purity of natural stains.

It possesses དེ་ཡོན་ཏན་ལྔ་དང་ལྡན་ཏེ། གཞལ་དུ་མེད་པའི་ཡོན་ཏན།
གྲངས་ཀྱི་མཐའ་མེད་པའི་ཡོན་ཏན། བསམ་དུ་མེད་པའི་ཡོན་ཏན། ཉམས་པ་མེད་པའི་ཡོན་ཏན། དག་པ་མཐར་ཐུག་པའི་ཡོན་ཏན་དང་ལྡན་པའི་ཕྱིར་ཏེ། གོ་རིམས་བཞིན་དུ་འཕགས་པ་འོག་མ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ཚད་བཟུང་དུ་མེད་པས་རྒྱ་ཆེ་བའི་ཕྱིར་དང་།
གྲངས་ཀྱི་གནས་གཞན་དྲུག་ཅུས་བགྲང་དུ་མེད་པས་གྲངས་མེད་པའི་ཕྱིར་དང་།
རྗོད་བྱེད་ཀྱི་སྒྲ་དང་རྟོག་པའི་རྐྱེན་གྱི་མུ་བཞིར་བསམ་དུ་མེད་པས་རྟོག་གེའི་ཡུལ་མ་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར་དང་། སངས་རྒྱས་འབའ་ཞིག་གི་རྒྱུད་ལ་ཡོད་པ་དང་སྒྲིབ་གཉིས་བག་ཆགས་དང་བཅས་པ་སྤངས་པའི་ཕྱིར།

ངོ་བོ་ཉིད་སྐུ་ཆོས་ཅན། ཁྱད་ཆོས་གསུམ་དང་ལྡན་ཏེ།
The subject - the Nature Body - it possesses three characteristics:

1. Characteristic of possession ལྡན་པའི་ཁྱད་པར།
   Due to possessing the twenty-one sets of uncontaminated exalted wisdoms
   ཟག་མེད་ཡེ་ཤེས་སྡེ་ཚན་ཉེར་གཅིག་དང་ལྡན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
2. Characteristic of separation བྲལ་བའི་ཁྱད་པར།
   Due to having abandoned the two obscurations without exception སྒྲིབ་གཉིས་མ་ལུས་པར་སྤངས་པའི་ཕྱིར།
3. Characteristic of nature ངོ་བོའི་ཁྱད་པར།
   Due to being the nature of dharmadhatu that is empty of true existence
   བདེན་པས་སྟོང་བའི་ཆོས་དབྱིངས་ཀྱི་ངོ་བོ་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར།

Alternatively, it possesses three characteristics: ཡང་ན། དེ་ཆོས་ཅན། ཁྱད་པར་གསུམ་དང་ལྡན་ཏེ།

1. Possessing the Buddha's twenty-one sets of uncontaminated exalted wisdom by way of quality and quality-possessor སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཟག་མེད་ཡེ་ཤེས་སྡེ་ཚན་ཉེར་གཅིག་པོ་ཆོས་དང་ཆོས་ཅན་གྱི་ཚུལ་དང་ལྡན་པའི་ཁྱད་པར།
2. Separation due to having completely purified the two obscurations together with their imprints
   སྒྲིབ་གཉིས་བག་ཆགས་དང་བཅས་པ་རྣམ་པ་ཀུན་ཏུ་རྣམ་པར་དག་པས་བྲལ་བའི་ཁྱད་པར།
3. The nature of characterising or embodying the emptiness of true establishment ultimately of those twenty-one sets of uncontaminated exalted wisdom ཟག་མེད་ཡེ་ཤེས་ཀྱི་སྡེ་ཚན་ཉེར་གཅིག་པོ་དེ་དག་དོན་དམ་པར་བདེན་པར་གྲུབ་པས་སྟོང་པའི་མཚན་ཉིད་ཅན་ནམ། བདག་ཉིད་ཅན་གྱི་ངོ་བོའི་ཁྱད་པར་དང་ལྡན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
