Nature body

དག་པ་གཉིས་ལྡན་གྱི་དབྱིངས་མཐར་ཐུག ངོ་བོ་ཉིད་སྐུའི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition: A final sphere possessing the two purities.

Divisions:

Nature body that is the factor of natural purity རང་བཞིན་རྣམ་དག་གི་ཆར་གྱུར་པའི་ངོ་བོ་ཉིད་སྐུ།
e.g. the dharmata in the continuum of an Arya Buddha སངས་རྒྱས་འཕགས་པའི་རྒྱུད་ཀྱི་ཆོས་ཉིད་ལྟ་བུ།
Nature body that is the factor of purity from the adventitious གློ་བུར་རྣམ་དག་གི་ཆར་གྱུར་པའི་ངོ་བོ་ཉིད་སྐུ།
e.g. true cessations in their continuum དེའི་རྒྱུད་ཀྱི་འགོག་བདེན་ལྟ་བུ།

For Svatantrika, the latter is a conventional truth and therefore these two are mutually exclusive.

Boundaries: only on the Buddha-ground. སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ས་ཁོ་ནར་ཡོད་དོ།

Possesses five characteristics: ངོ་བོ་ཉིད་སྐུ་ཆོས་ཅན། མཚན་ཉིད་ལྔ་དང་ཡང་ལྡན་ཏེ།

Uncompounded - free from production and disintegration སྐྱེ་འཇིག་དང་བྲལ་བ་འདུས་མ་བྱས་པ་དང་།
Entity indivisible from its qualities of abandonment and realisation སྤངས་རྟོགས་ཀྱི་ཡོན་ཏན་དང་ངོ་བོ་དབྱེར་མེད་པ་དང་།
Abandoned the two extremes of superimposition and deprecation སྒྲོ་སྐུར་གྱི་མཐའ་གཉིས་སྤངས་པ་དང་།
Liberated from the three obscurations: afflictive, knowledge, and to meditative absorption
ཉོན་མོངས་པ་དང་ཤེས་བྱའི་སྒྲིབ་པ་དང་སྙོམས་འཇུག་གི་སྒྲིབ་པ་གསུམ་ལས་གྲོལ་བ་དང་།
Qualities of natural clear light རང་བཞིན་གྱི་འོད་གསལ་བའི་ཡོན་ཏན་དག་དང་ལྡན་པའི་ཕྱིར།

ཕྱི་མ་གྲུབ་སྟེ། རང་བཞིན་གྱིས་དྲི་མ་མེད་ཅིང་ཇི་ལྟ་བ་བཞིན་དུ་རྣམ་པར་རྟོག་པས་རྟོག་པ་མེད་ཅིང་།
རྣལ་འབྱོར་པ་སྟེ་སངས་རྒྱས་རྣམས་ཀྱི་མངོན་སུམ་གྱི་སྤྱོད་ཡུལ་ཡིན་ཞིང་། རང་བཞིན་གྱིས་དྲི་མ་རྣམ་པར་དག་པའི་དབྱིངས་མཐར་ཐུག་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
The latter is established because of:

lacking natural stains
lacking conceptuality due to conceiving things as they are
being the object of utilisation of the yogis', i.e. the Buddhas', direct perception
being the final sphere of purity from natural stains

Possesses five qualities: དེ་ཆོས་ཅན། ཡོན་ཏན་ལྔ་དང་ཡང་ལྡན་ཏེ།

Unknowable qualities གཞལ་དུ་མེད་པའི་ཡོན་ཏན།
Due to being vast རྒྱ་ཆེ་བ་དང་།
Numberless qualities གྲངས་ཀྱི་མཐའ་མེད་པའི་ཡོན་ཏན།
Due to being without number གྲངས་མེད་པ་དང་།
Qualities inconceivable as the four possibilities by the philosophers མུ་བཞིར་རྟོག་གེ་བའི་བློས་བསམ་དུ་མེད་པའི་ཡོན་ཏན།
Due to not being an object of utilisation of the philosophers' direct perception as they are
ཇི་ལྟ་བ་བཞིན་དུ་རྟོག་གེ་བའི་མངོན་སུམ་གྱི་སྤྱོད་ཡུལ་མ་ཡིན་པ་དང་།
Panchen: inconceivable as they are by expressive sound and conceptuality
བརྗོད་བྱེད་ཀྱི་སྒྲ་དང་རྟོག་པས་ཇི་ལྟ་བ་བཞིན་དུ་བསམ་དུ་མེད་པ།
Unequalled qualities མཉམ་པ་མེད་པའི་ཡོན་ཏན།
Due to existing only in the continua of Buddhas སངས་རྒྱས་འབའ་ཞིག་གི་རྒྱུད་ལ་ཡོད་པ་དང་།
Qualities of final purity of stains དྲི་མ་དག་པའི་མཐར་ཐུག་པའི་ཡོན་ཏན་རྣམས་དང་ལྡན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
Due to having abandoned all afflictions together with their imprints
ཉོན་མོངས་པ་བག་ཆགས་དང་བཅས་པ་མ་ལུས་པར་སྤངས་པའི་རྒྱུ་མཚན་གྱིས་དེ་དང་ལྡན་པར་བཞག་པའི་ཕྱིར།

Possesses three distinguishing features: ངོ་བོ་ཉིད་སྐུ་ཆོས་ཅན། ཁྱད་ཆོས་གསུམ་དང་ལྡན་ཏེ།

Of possession ལྡན་པའི་ཁྱད་པར།
Of separation བྲལ་བའི་ཁྱད་པར།
Of entity ངོ་བོའི་ཁྱད་པར་གསུམ་དང་ལྡན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
